Download or read book Troubles de l'apprentissage chez l'enfant written by LENOBLE Evelyne and published by Lavoisier. This book was released on 2014-01-15 with total page 206 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

This publication is certainly the first major thematic and critical synthesis on the condition of socially vulnerable persons (PSV) in Africa. An excellent line-up of 40 experts and institutions from different countries of the continent is making an effort to understand this phenomenon, which has become worrying, through a complex, retrospective, factual, current, quantified, punctual, prospective and relatively exhaustive analytical inventory. The various contributions are accompanied by strong recommendations that challenge the holders of issues for their application in a process of co-construction for an active citizenship of transformation. It is a document of advocacy/indictment and lobbying in favor of the development, protection and improvement of the social conditions of the elderly and persons with disabilities in Africa in terms of health, food, housing, environment, social protection, income maintenance, employment and education, given their increasing numbers in relative and absolute terms. The issue of socially vulnerable people is thus brought to the forefront of important, if not permanent, political-social and scientific concerns. It is the subject of recurrent investigations and reflections within the special mechanism of the African Union, the Working Group on Elderly Persons and Persons with Disabilities of the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights. The initial assignment is to build legal, psychological, socio-anthropological and political vehicles in order to initiate positive change and sustainable protection of VHPs, as well as customary protocols for their valorization in African cultures and traditions.

This book was released on 2013-06-29 with total page 281 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The conference of our European Institute for social security was held from the 16th till the 19th of October 1980 in Peruggia. As usual the theme of the Conference was the same of that of the preparatory Colloque held in Brussels in 1979: Social security reforms in Europe. The reports of that Colloque were published as Part I I of the Yearbook 1978-1980. Part I of the Yearbook 1980-1981 contains the reports presented in Peruggia. The reports are focussed on three items: The financing of social security (J.P. Launay, Jan B.M. Pierik, Jørn Henrik Petersen and Guy Perrin); The social benefits (Bernd Schulte and Sven Guldburg) and The organization of social security (A.J. Ogus, A. Berenstein and Jef van Langendonck) . The Yearbook contains also two national reports (M. Magrez and Asbj~rn Kjønstad), not available to be included in Yearbook I I 1978-1980. Finally the Yearbook contains a report from Guy Perrin on the social security problems of migrant workers and the synthesis report of Pasquale Sandulli. It's a pity that we could not include the report of Lucia Vitali, Le prestazini per inval idita nel sistema ital iano di sicurezza sociale: un anal isi economica, and the report of the Region of Umbria since there was no English or French translation available. The Institute once again wants to express its sincere gratitude to Pasquale Sandull i and his collegues for the adequate way in which they organized the conference.

Book Synopsis Les solidarités entre générations by :
Download or read book Les solidarités entre générations written by and published by Primento. This book was released on 2013-03-06 with total page 740 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. The importance of the human, economic and social issues caused by the question of generations’ solidarities led the International Society of Family Law to choose this theme for its XVIth World Congress (Lyon, July 19-23rd 2011). More than 200 speakers from 50 countries studied these questions from the legal angle, but also philosophic, economic and anthropological. This work collects a part of these papers about two great issues: the child, as the center of family solidarities; and the support for elders by family. Phenomena such as increasing life expectancy, population urbanization, labor-market entry barriers, decline of traditional family patterns, mark in depth our contemporary world and involve old solidarity disappearance and new solidarity emergence, reshaping relations between generations while bringing up the problem of the fate of the most vulnerable: children, the sick, disabled, and especially elderly people. – What then is the role of families and communities in protecting these people? – What is the relationship between public and private solidarity? – What are the rights and freedoms of people placed by age, illness or disability in a dependence situation? These are the issues addressed by the authors of this book.

This book was released on 2018-10-10T00:00:00+02:00 with total page 100 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In his film work, Jesper Just links images of an exceptional quality to sound and music. Enigmas disrupt the narrative, creating a poetry-liberating tension. The artist leaves spectators with their own doubts and emotions. The work conceived for the Palais de Tokyo consists of an audiovisual installation and a spatial intervention, which transforms both the space and the visitor’s journey. The One World Trade Center, an iconic and controversial skyscraper, is as much the scene of the films, as a character in itself. It functions as a phantom limb, while also standing for resilience. The films follow two characters: a young girl, who is not an individual but embodies the ideals of youth and feminity conveyed today, and a disabled child. The characters mirror, oppose and interact, to explore themes of ableism and agency as well as the boundaries of body and selfhood. Book contents - “Servitudes”: Jesper Just in conversation with Katell Jaffrès, curator of Jesper Just’s exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo - “In The Doubling of Dreams”: an essay by Fabien Danesi on Jesper Just’s film work - Notes on a selection of the artist’s films About the authors - Fabien Danesi is an art historian. Download or read book Autour de l' enfant written by Anne Lefebvre-Teillard and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2008-09-30 with total page 395 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The present “revolution” in biological technology is leading lawyers to fundamentally reconsider the laws of human reproduction .What is at stake is not only the transmission of life but also the transmission of a certain order of the things on which society is based. This is the reason why the law has always sought to regulate the transmission of life. Covering themes from Canon and medieval Roman Law to the 1804 ‘Code civil’, the work includes twenty-three articles on the history of law about a number of modern-day questions. They deal with the close connections long maintained between marriage and procreation; with natural and legal "filiation" especially regarding the very delicate problems of evidence; with the institution of legitimation but also of the child as a person. There is also an article on the important matter of the "conceived child".
