Book Synopsis Is Your Religion Robbing You? by : Thomas C. Reinecke
Download or read book Is Your Religion Robbing You? written by Thomas C. Reinecke and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2008-09 with total page 310 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: IS YOUR RELIGION ROBBING YOU? St. John clearly gave illumination to the deception of darkness when he wrote concerning Jesus: In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the Light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it (John 1: 4-5). Yet even today many who love God and believe in Jesus are not able to comprehend the Light and thus are deprived of the life He offers. Where there is no Light of the Gospel there is no real life with Jesus. This is the result of being cheated and robbed by that spiritual being who rules the darkness in this world, and is the imposter of God in the counterfeit spirit of religion. This book offers freedom to all whose hearts desire is to comprehend and experience the Light of the World in all His fullness and glory! Thomas C. Reinecke and his wife Phyllis are ordained ministers with Christian International Apostolic Network, under Dr. Bill Hamon. Together, in 1986 they founded Faith, Hope & Love, Inc., a ministry that undergirded their work as missionaries to ten overseas nations as well as pastoral work in the State of Florida. They published their first book, To Know, Love & Serve God in 1994. In recent years they founded a prophetic training school called The School of The Holy Spirit, as well as Sapphire Family Church, an apostolic/prophetic church both located in Baltimore, Maryland and under the pastoral leadership of their son Tim and wife Brenda. Their oldest son Tom Jr. and wife Nancy have served the Lord in missionary work in Africa and Southeast Asia for nearly 25 years. Tom & Phyllis three daughters and families are all saved and love the Lord Jesus.

Book excerpt: The most celebrated story collection from “one of the true American masters” (The New York Review of Books)—a haunting meditation on love, loss, and companionship, and finding one’s way through the dark that includes the iconic and much-referenced title story featured in the Academy Award-winning film Birdman. "Raymond Carver's America is ... clouded by pain and the loss of dreams, but it is not as fragile as it looks. It is a place of survivors and a place of stories.... [Carver] has done what many of the most gifted writers fail to do: He has invented a country of his own, like no other except that very world, as Wordsworth said, which is the world to all of us." —The New York Times Book Review
Download or read book Stealing from God written by Frank Turek and published by Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.. This book was released on 2014 with total page 299 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If you think atheists have reason, evidence, and science on their side, think again! Award-winning author Dr. Frank Turek (I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist) will show you how atheists steal reason, evidence, science, and other arguments from God in trying to make their case for atheism. If that sounds contradictory, it's because it is! Atheists can't make their case without appealing to realities only theism can explain. In an engaging and memorable way,Stealing from God exposes these intellectual crimes atheists are committing and then provides four powerful reasons for why Christianity is true.

Download or read book Encouragement for the Day written by Charles Allard and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2022-04-12 with total page 414 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Encouragement for the Day: Messages of Inspiration and Challenge expands on the messages Pastor Charles Allard delivered on three North Carolina radio stations in the 1980s and 1990s. The popular daily messages of encouragement were broadcast at random times reaching a wide audience of listeners. High school students riding buses were known to hush their classmates to hear the messages. One listener even called Allard at 1:30 a.m. to tell him that he had just heard one of his messages and that was in a place he should not be—and wanted to turn his life over to Jesus. Topics featured include setting priorities, finding your purpose, giving glory to God, hearing the Lord speak, being patient, counting your blessings, focusing on what matters, and taking responsibility for your actions. Written for daily meditation, prayer, and spiritual growth, the devotional will help you overcome everyday struggles, encourage others to walk with the Lord, and look to Christ for help, strength, and salvation. Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching: SPECIAL INCLUSION: A complete guide for home Advent celebration with family and friends.

Download or read book Love Wins written by Rob Bell and published by Harper Collins. This book was released on 2011-03-15 with total page 162 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Millions of Christians have struggled with how to reconcile God's love and God's judgment: Has God created billions of people over thousands of years only to select a few to go to heaven and everyone else to suffer forever in hell? Is this acceptable to God? How is this "good news"? Troubling questions—so troubling that many have lost their faith because of them. Others only whisper the questions to themselves, fearing or being taught that they might lose their faith and their church if they ask them out loud. But what if these questions trouble us for good reason? What if the story of heaven and hell we have been taught is not, in fact, what the Bible teaches? What if what Jesus meant by heaven, hell, and salvation are very different from how we have come to understand them? What if it is God who wants us to face these questions? Author, pastor, and innovative teacher Rob Bell presents a deeply biblical vision for rediscovering a richer, grander, truer, and more spiritually satisfying way of understanding heaven, hell, God, Jesus, salvation, and repentance. The result is the discovery that the "good news" is much, much better than we ever imagined. Love wins.
