Book Synopsis Automated Cars Prophesied by William Branham by : Leonidas Muganda
Download or read book Automated Cars Prophesied by William Branham written by Leonidas Muganda and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2009-03 with total page 122 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Since the beginning of times man always had a deep longing to know the future. As God forbids fortune telling, he nevertheless sends prophets to prepare his people. One of the prophets in the twentieth century was a Pentecostal Pastor called William Branham. In 1933 he received seven prophetic visions on end time events. In the fourth vision he saw cars running automatically on American highways. Cars had no steering wheel and the front passengers were turned backwards playing some kind of game. The roof was completely transparent and cars were egg shaped. This prophecy is now in the process of being fulfilled. In 1997 a dozen of cars moved automatically on a Californian highway. The technology is now present to help establish these highways. Science will soon accomplish what God foretold. This book explains scientifically how and when science will fulfill this prophecy in the twenty first century. For more information contact Edwin Standley: [email protected] Leonidas Muganda and Edwin Standley are Pastor and Engineer in Electronics respectively. They met for the first time at Hull University in England during their studies. Leonidas is married to Francoise and has three sons. He lives in Leicester and is a leader in his church. He has a passion for the word of God that he knows from Genesis to Revelation. Edwin lives in France, and is interested in science and especially automated cars. He read about the ministry and prophecies of a Pastor called William Branham. Leonidas and Edwin decided it was time to write a book explaining how the establishment of automated highways will fulfill what William Branham predicted in his prophecies a long time ago.

Book Synopsis Traveler Response to Transportation System Changes Handbook, Third Edition: Chapter 19, Employer and Institutional TDM Strategies by : Transportation Research Board
Download or read book Traveler Response to Transportation System Changes Handbook, Third Edition: Chapter 19, Employer and Institutional TDM Strategies written by Transportation Research Board and published by Transportation Research Board. This book was released on 2010-07-19 with total page 185 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The third edition Traveler Response to Transportation System Changes Handbook provides comprehensive information on travel demand effects of alternative urban transportation policies, operating approaches and systems, and built environment options, by building upon, expanding, and selectively replacing the earlier editions to provide a contemporary assessment of the experience and insights gained from the application and analysis of various system changes and alternatives. The focus is on aiding transportation, transit, and land use planners in their conduct of travel demand and related analyses, and to inform elected officials, administrators, operators, designers, and the general public as well. The Traveler Response to Transportation System Changes Handbook consists of the Chapter 1 introductory materials and 15 stand-alone published topic area chapters. Each topic area chapter provides traveler response findings including supportive information and interpretation, and also includes case studies and a bibliography consisting of the references utilized as sources. Please note that Chapters 4, 7, and 8 have been deferred for a future TCRP project effort. The Handbook findings derive primarily from reported results and analyses of real-world transportation system and policy applications and trials. Experimental or quasi-experimental empirical data have been the information source of choice. Other empirical data derivations and simple accounts of outcomes have been employed as necessary. Forecasts and other estimates derived from travel demand model applications and similar techniques have been used, but on a very selective basis; mostly for augmenting the empirical data where gaps exist, and for providing additional insights and context. TCRP Report 95: Traveler Response to Transportation System Changes Handbook will be of interest to transit, transportation, and land use planning practitioners; transportation engineers; land developers, employers, and school administrators; researchers and educators; and professionals across a broad spectrum of transportation and planning; metropolitan planning organizations; and local, state, and federal government agencies."--taken from publisher web site.

Book Synopsis Airport Competition by : Peter Forsyth
Download or read book Airport Competition written by Peter Forsyth and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2016-03-23 with total page 463 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The break-up of BAA and the blocked takeover of Bratislava airport by the competing Vienna airport have brought the issue of airport competition to the top of the agenda for air transport policy in Europe. Airport Competition reviews the current state of the debate and asks whether airport competition is strong enough to effectively limit market power. It provides evidence on how travellers chose an airport, thereby altering its competitive position, and on how airports compete in different regions and markets. The book also discusses the main policy implications of mergers and subsidies.
