He had the honor of being president of the International Auctioneers Association of U. S. A., Canada and Mexico, and three terms as president of the Auctioneers Association of Oklahoma. He desires to write out of his experience a book that will give the man who has an auction bee buzzing in his bonnet the shortest route to the auction block. Several times in this book he says that an auctioneer is born, not made. For several years he was president of the El Reno Auction School. There he learned this fact. When we say born, we mean that he must be naturally a man of strong personality, good judgment, and very strong lung power. The profession must be fascinating to him, and he should be a live give on general principles - clean and reliable.
