What woman would not want to forget, for a half-day photo shoot, her daily duties and worries? This is what I think when I have the chance and the responsibility to have a Portrait photo session with a woman. I love woman because they give me the possibility to take care of them and create a space and time where their beauty may spread and flourish. Most of the women I take shots to I have never seen before. So I study their photos and start to imagine the right location, gesture, accessories and dress. Recently I started to create with my hands, for every single woman I have to portray, a new dress. Mostly made with...nothing. Crape paper, small pieces of cloth, newspapers... Love the magic that happens when they see their beauty glorified by dress, light, location, poses and dialogue. Trust and dialogue are the key to understand, appreciate their diversity and make their beauty ..happen. What will you find in this book? -Photos of normal girls, women, most of them are NOT models, believe me..that I contacted for a shooting session. -Simplicity at work. It does not take that much to let a woman beauty flow in the air -Glances that every lucky man would like to have the chance to meet -Silence. When beauty happens every word is too much. The Portraits in this book are the gifts all the woman gave me when they agreed to have a photographic session with me. And I want to give back these gifts in 130 photos for your eyes. Buy this book. It's your way to help Beauty spread and take with you those moments of precious time and Fine-Art Photography.

Book excerpt: “A beautiful book that provides genuine encouragement and inspiration. Vivid portrait photography and accompanying essays declare that all work is women's work.” —Kirkus Reviews (starred review) In this stunning collection, award-winning photographer Chris Crisman documents the women who pioneered work in fields that have long been considered the provinces of men—with accompanying interviews on how these inspiring women have always paved their own ways. Today, young girls are told they can do—and be—anything they want when they grow up. Yet the unique challenges that women face in the workplace, whether in the boardroom or the barnyard, have never been more publicly discussed and scrutinized. With Women’s Work, Crisman pairs his award-winning, striking portrait photography of women on the job with poignant, powerful interviews of his subjects: women who have carved out unique places for themselves in a workforce often dominated by men, and often dominated by men who have told them no. Through their stories, we see not only the ins and outs of their daily work, but the emotional and physical labors of the jobs they love. Women’s Work is a necessary snapshot of how far we’ve come and where we’re heading next—their stories are an inspiration as well as a call to action for future generations of women at work. Women’s Work features more than sixty beautiful photographs, including Alison Goldblum, contractor; Anna Valer Clark, ranch owner; Ayah Bdeir, CEO of littleBits; Beth Beverly, taxidermist; Carla Hall, blacksmith; Cherise Van Hooser, funeral director; Jordan Ainsworth, gold miner; Magen Lowe, correctional officer; Mindy Gabriel, firefighter; Nancy Poli, pig farmer; Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne, Founders of Georgetown Cupcake; Doris Kearns Goodwin, presidential biographer; Sophi Davis, cowgirl; Abingdon Welch, pilot; Christy Wilhelmi, beekeeper; Connie Chang, chemical engineer; Danielle Perez, comedienne; Indra Nooyi, former CEO of PepsiCo; Lisa Calvo, oyster farmer; Mia Anstine, outdoor guide; Meejin Yoon, architect; Yoky Matsuoka, a tech VP at Google; and many more.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Enjoy these 10 beautiful photo manipulations of sexy women. I, Larry Murk, graduated from Stanford University in 1987 with a bachelors degree in computer science. In 2000 I suffered an accident that caused a spinal cord injury leaving me a quadriplegic. Luckily I can still control my arms enough to operate a computer reasonably. I have always been interested in art and being confined to a wheelchair has led me to explore the world of digital image creation. My image editor of choice is named GIMP. GIMP is very similar to Photoshop except that it is FREE so I highly recommend everyone try it out. Every image in this book was created by my editing a photograph. In each case I was given permission to create a video tutorial showing how I altered the photograph. Each image has a link to the video tutorial on Youtube, the original photo, the model and the photographer (when available). I hope you enjoy sharing these images as much as I enjoyed creating them. All pictures are original works created by the author Larry Murk. These works are copyrighted and may not be redistributed or sold without the express written authorization of Larry Murk.
