In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Saemaul Undong, I rediscovered moving success stories from the dusty bookshelves while writing a separate book 'Saemaul so far'. After rediscovering this amazing story of a hero, I thought it was as important as a history textbook to tell the growing generation how our ancestors made our village and our country prosperous, rather than letting it sit as it is.
