If you've ever wondered if there is more to work than just going through the motions, you'll relate to Mason. You see, Mason has struggled for a long time to find satisfaction in his work. Day after day, he goes through the motions, following the "another day, another dollar" mentality. Until one day. The day, he attends Sophie's new project proposal. She nicknames it "The Diamond Project." Mason notices something different in the way Sophie presents the project. He can't put his finger on it. He asks if she'll explain it over lunch. One lunch turns into a series of lunches as Sophie shares how she became a "diamond miner." Join Mason as he follows Sophie's lead. Her simple yet often overlooked suggestions take Mason on a journey of discovery that allow him to develop his own diamonds, as well as the diamonds of those around him. He discovers the same principles are effective at home, in his community, and at work. He begins to realize that there's more to work, and life, than just punching a clock. Mason's journey in The Diamond Project will help you understand the following: • how to develop your diamonds and help other people develop theirs, • how to give yourself permission to be truly successful, • how to ask the right success questions of the right people, • the importance of environment, and • the diamond equation. Join Mason on his journey to becoming a diamond miner because if he can do it, you can too!

Despite all of his past struggles with mental illness, he was happily married, had three wonderful children, a nice home, and a fantastic consulting business that satisfied his creativity and brought in a good income. But you can never get too comfortable. When Abe becomes a prime suspect in a jewel heist – one of the largest successful jewel heists in history – his schizophrenia becomes unmanageable and everything begins to spiral out of control. Abe’s own investigation into the heist has the jewel thieves hot on his tail… but are they really, or is he just losing the battle against his inner demons? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really liked the description of mental illness in this book and living with a person like that. I'm a nurse, not a specialist in a psychiatry but from what I know it is pretty accurate portrayal of a schizophrenic person. The mystery alone was very compelling, I only guessed half of the riddle so the reveal at the end surprised me. It was a great novel! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another great thing about this book was the main character, Abe. He was a likeable star, at least in my opinion. He has playful banters with his children, and the schizophrenia part of his character was done very well. Will he uncover the truth before it’s too late? This compelling tale masterfully weaves themes of mental health with a riveting mystery that keeps readers guessing until the very last page! Don't miss out on this thought-provoking thriller that invites you into Abe's world—a place where love and fear intertwine! Click to begin your journey through this unforgettable tale filled with suspense, emotional depth, and shocking revelations! Book excerpt: An heiress in disguise. A duke who doubts his legitimacy. Will secrets destroy their love? Traumatized by a blaze that killed her parents, young Johanna remembers nothing of her privileged past and remains ignorant of the dangers that surround her. She grows up among the servants, where she develops a sense of purpose that helps her survive the betrayal that unmasks her true identity. Once she is forced to take her proper place in Regency society as the highly sought heiress to the Ambersley fortune, she must defy the relatives who would make her a pawn in their struggle for power. When Derek Vaughan inherits the dukedom, his dubious parentage makes it a sacrilege to accept. But touched by the ravaged estate and its destitute staff, he braves a society that once shunned him while he rebuilds Ambersley and guards it from his stepmother's bankrupting clutches. He intends to grant the title to his half-brother when the boy comes of age, but Derek's plans go awry from the moment the gardener's apprentice—once his trusted young friend—is revealed to be not only an heiress of beauty and spirit, but the one woman who may finally capture his heart. Note on the Second Edition: This May 2019 edition of Ambersley has been abridged to remove the “on screen” action of two lovemaking scenes.

Book excerpt: A NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER The hotly anticipated book from “one of the all-time pop-culture greats” (New York magazine) that chronicles her shocking life and unyielding determination to not only survive but achieve her dreams. Julia Fox is famous for many things: her captivating acting, such as her breakout role in the film Uncut Gems; her trendsetting style, including bleached eyebrows, exaggerated eyeshadow, and cutout dresses; her mastery of social media, where she entertains and educates her millions of followers. But all these share the trait for which she is most famous: unabashedly and unapologetically being herself. This commitment to authenticity has never been more on display than in Down the Drain. With writing that is both eloquent and accessible, Fox recounts her turbulent path to cultural supremacy: her parents’ volatile relationship that divided her childhood between Italy and New York City and left her largely raising herself; a possessive and abusive drug-dealing boyfriend whose torment continued even from within Rikers Island; her own trips to jail as well as to a psychiatric hospital; her work as a dominatrix that led to a complicated entanglement with a sugar daddy; a heroin habit that led to New Orleans trap houses and that she would kick only after the fatal overdose of her best friend; her own near-lethal overdoses and the deaths of still more friends from drugs and suicide; an emotionally explosive, tabloid-dominating romance with a figure she dubs “The Artist”; a whirlwind, short-lived marriage and her trials as a single parent striving to support her young son. Yet as extraordinary as her story is, its universality is what makes it so powerful. Fox doesn’t just capture her improbable evolution from grade-school outcast to fashion-world icon, she captures her transition from girlhood to womanhood to motherhood. Family and friendship, sex and death, violence and love, money and power, innocence and experience—it’s all here, in raw, remarkable, and riveting detail. More than a year before the book’s publication, Fox’s description of it as “a masterpiece” in a red carpet interview went viral. As always, she was just being honest. Down the Drain is a true literary achievement, as one-of-a-kind as its author.

This is the life story of movie and TV actor Dale Robertson, told by the person who knew him best: his wife, Susan. Susan says she is not a professional writer but wanted to write this book totally herself with her own thoughts, ideas, time frame, and no ghost writer. She laughs when someone says, "Well, you are a writer now." As she states in the book, Dale would joke when someone would approach him to do his autobiography. He'd say, "Not now." It was because he did not know how it ended. Also he would remind them of all the thousands of interviews he had done over the years and to "let the younger actors do these interviews now." Because the autobiography had not been done, Susan wanted to do it to help in some way to preserve his legacy. Susan now resides in San Diego, California, to be closer to family and hopes folks will enjoy the book. She knows her husband better and that he did not compromise himself in the film industry and in life.
