Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Has Gods Law, as defined by the Ten Commandments, been done away, as has been supposed by many? Does the new covenant allow free picking and choosing? Does the fourth commandment not matter anymore, or did God change the sabbath to another day? Are Christmas and Easter Gods holy days? Does grace make the Law unnecessary? Is it okay to erect a sun god statue and other images in our nation to represent liberty? Is God okay with the popular sexual lifestyles our nations Christian-professing people have? Should true Christians be pro-war? Is it okay to live richly on credit when one is only able to pay the interest? It is time for our nation to repent and turn back to our liberty-giver, the true God of Israel. Gods Law of Love is needed for liberty to thrive. The Ten Commandments still apply today. Find the thorough answers to the questions above and more within the pages of this book.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The whole manifested world goes to show us what use we have made of God's gift. Receiving a gift does not mean that we are going to use it wisely, but we have the gift. Everyone has the gift; and the world simply reflects the use of that gift.In "The Merchant of Venice," Shakespeare puts these words into the mouth of Portia: "If to do were as easy as to know what were good to do, chapels had been churches and poor men's cottages princes palaces. It is a good divine who follows his own instructions. I can easier teach twenty what were good to be done than to be one of the twenty to follow my own teaching."So you and I have been given a gift. To what use have we put it? In a book written in the First Century, written at the time of our Gospel, -- it's called the Hermetica, and this is a translation by Walter Scott. It is a wonderful series of four volumes; and in this he says: "There are two gifts that God has given to man alone, and to no other mortal creature, and these two gifts are Mind and Speech. And the gifts of Mind and Speech are essential and identical with Immortality. If they are used rightly, man will not differ in any respect from the immortals; and when he quits the body, these two will be his guides and they will lead him into the troop of the gods and. to the souls that have attained to bliss."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a frontal assault on all law based, obedience oriented religion. Most Christians carry a load of spiritual bondage, condemnation, guilt and shame. Some are deeply despondent and depressed because this load is too heavy for them to bear. Few Christians are truly confident in their personal relationship with God. This situation exists because: 1) Christians are generally unable to distinguish between actual sin versus mere human opinion about sin; 2) Christians do not understand that Jesus set them free from obedience based religion; 3) Christians do not know how to decide for themselves what is truly moral; 4) Christians have no real experience of "Christian Liberty." These issues are examined in sufficient detail to enable one to understand the radical nature of the "freedom for which Christ set us free," (Gal. 5:1). The author's goal is to destroy the roots of religious legalism so Christian believers can live the life of freedom which is their spiritual "blood-right." Beginning with a development of the "Master Key" to Biblical morality, the nature and implications of Christ's "Law of Love" are thoroughly explored. Next, the author discusses the true nature of morality, answering the question, "What exactly makes a thing sinful?" Careful attention is given to the concept of "defilement" or "uncleanness," with a bold look at Paul's revolutionary statement that "nothing is unclean of itself," (Rom. 14:14, 20). In Part Three, Legalism is exposed in all its ugliness. This section details the Biblical method for determining what is truly sin, and what is merely human opinion. Part Four destroys the bitter root of Legalism with persistent emphasis on the fact that Jesus Christ ended the rule of law by His life, death and resurrection. Part Five looks at the theology of Galatians, the Christian's "Emancipation Proclamation," closing with pointed illustration of how this all affects a Christian's liberty to exercise personal choice in what (s)he will or won't do. Five appendices explore several specific issues raised by the preceding study. These include: Conclusions About Christian Liberty "Contradictory" Scriptures? Christian Liberty and Sexual Issues The Necessity Of Experiencing Freedom The Non-Negotiables of Bible Study This is the only book on Christian Freedom written by an ex Fundamentalist. The author was raised in an atmosphere of extreme legalism. The first half of his Christian ministry was spent preaching, defending and even debating the concepts that he now seeks to destroy. The author lived in legalism forty years. He understands legalism. He therefore knows how to attack its vulnerable spots. His goal was not to write a book, but to give to anyone who is interested, information that will set them free from bondage to legalism and open the pathway to self-government under the rule of love. Some references to it have been positive, some negative. It appears to be important, and they'd like to know more about it. But they want a full, understandable explanation, not a simplistic one. What Is Reformed Theology? is an accessible introduction to beliefs that have been immensely influential in the evangelical church. In this insightful book, R. C. Sproul walks readers through the foundations of the Reformed doctrine and explains how the Reformed belief is centered on God, based on God's Word, and committed to faith in Jesus Christ. Sproul explains the five points of Reformed theology and makes plain the reality of God's amazing grace.

Book excerpt: A "marvelous" (Economist) account of how the Christian Revolution forged the Western imagination. Crucifixion, the Romans believed, was the worst fate imaginable, a punishment reserved for slaves. How astonishing it was, then, that people should have come to believe that one particular victim of crucifixion-an obscure provincial by the name of Jesus-was to be worshipped as a god. Dominion explores the implications of this shocking conviction as they have reverberated throughout history. Today, the West remains utterly saturated by Christian assumptions. As Tom Holland demonstrates, our morals and ethics are not universal but are instead the fruits of a very distinctive civilization. Concepts such as secularism, liberalism, science, and homosexuality are deeply rooted in a Christian seedbed. From Babylon to the Beatles, Saint Michael to #MeToo, Dominion tells the story of how Christianity transformed the modern world.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "This is not for the faint of heart, nor for Christians who want to be entertained. This is for hungry Bible students seeking vast, deep answers to a vast, deep subject""the all-important subject of Love. This book could and should be the standalone text for an 8 credit hour college course, mandatory for every accredited Bible student. And, it is a must for every layman who wants to understand the most important teachings of the Bible on a serious level." - Jesse Steele, Moody Bible Institute Alum This book is offered to help you love the Lord with your whole heart and to better know your Creator. It is intended to help clarify some lingering misunderstandings that trace back far into biblical history. The book deals with the righteousness and holiness of God as seen in His laws, but from a New Covenant perspective: love. Showing the distinction between the dispensational Law of Moses and the eternal and unchanging Law of God, the book focuses on love, as love is the focus of both the Law of God and the Law of Moses (Rom. 13:8). It's all about loving God with all your heart and loving your neighbor as yourself, even loving your enemy. With man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible. These matters have the greatest bearing on our future reward in the heavenly kingdom and upon the power of our ministry today. With a clearer view of this line in the Bible, it is our prayer that we will all stand more confidently as we await and hasten the return of our Lord. Seek first his kingdom and its righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. The book also covers emerging research regarding the 364-day calendar of the books of 1st Enoch and Jubilees, and how to manage it in a 365-day context. I think you will enjoy studying this with us. Think about it, your Creator wants to have dates with you, on the dates that his feasts have been observed in the heavens since creation. As we journeyed through these things I was humbled to receive seven dreams from the Lord to help shepherd us through, which I document in the appendix. Several in our extended family have also been warned and encouraged in dreams. The arm of Yahweh is not short to also give you dreams and other works of the coming kingdom. But it all begins with desperate searching in his Word. Keep asking, and you will receive. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you!
