Book excerpt: Let us imagine that Jesus walked among us today, really could you imagine! What lifestyle would He choose to live? Would He choose to live in splendor? Or Would Jesus exhibit simple, humble, loving servant like qualities (the Carpenter), as we know Him in our bible readings? Jesus fed the hungry, clothes the needy and was the vessel of truth. Jesus came as a vessel, chosen to set an example, to bring love, grace and redemption. Yet, Jesus has ascended and is seated at the right hand of the Father. Jesus came to introduce Gods provision; Gods plan, not to forsaken anyone, all should receive the things that are needed for daily living. God made a plan to supply all of our needs. There is a provision to take care of all humankind on the earth. Through the servant-ship of chosen vessels, a plan of survival for humankinds has been put into place. God loves, shows compassion, and gives freely, as it is Gods plan that we honor the commandment to love thy neighbor as thyself. This is only one of the two most important commandments; the first commandment is to Love God with your whole heart (to have no god before Him), and the second is to love your neighbor as yourself. How does God desire that we give and share with our fellow man (neighbor)? God chose or gifted individuals with the abilities to manage substantial sums of money, and to discern the needs of others. To always give, lovingly and unconditionally, as God gives freely; desiring that as we will give freely. As we transform our lives to become more like Jesus, to give our time, talent, and resources as a part of the commitment to living in Christ. As we enter into the last days, the gift of giving will manifest, as we reach out to help families of believers and unbelievers. The last days will be a time where many will need God; spiritually, materially, physically and emotionally, and all needs should be met. As we give freely to unbelievers and believers; it will reveal Gods grace and love for all people. Humbly, all should aspire to be like Jesus, to reflect on Gods love for our fellow man and give, unconditionally? As the reference scripture reveals in Gods Word --- in Matthew 25: 45 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me. 44 They also will answer, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you? 45 He will reply, Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these; you did not do for me.

Mingling contemporary stories and biblical anecdotes with practical advice, Silvoso shows how God intervenes in human affairs today to transform people and nations. He also shares five critical paradigms for transformation that are pivotal for change: Discipling Nations, Reclaiming the Marketplace, Looking at Work as Worship, Becoming Salt and Light, and Eliminating Poverty. In these pages, readers will find extraordinary stories about the power of God working through those who discovered their specific purpose. Then, they’ll be challenged to transform themselves and, by doing so, transform their families, schools, businesses and nations. Silvoso encourages readers to aim high, knowing that God has entrusted them with great things. “God sees you as a nation transformer,” says Silvoso. He has faith in you!

Book excerpt: This book presents findings of further research into the concept I started in my previous book: the importance of dying to self and its implications for outreach to unchurched children in isolated communities. It was centered on our Lord Jesuss call for all to deny themselves in order to follow him. If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me (Luke 9:23). Gods ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8). We have to lose in order to gain (Philippians 3:78), we have to lose ourselves in order to find ourselves (Matthew 10:39), we have to die in order to live (John 12:24), and if you want victory, you have to first surrender (watch the War Room movie). This book delves deeper into the practical aspects of reaching a specific demographic of unchurched children in Jane-Finch.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Considering a submission to the guided directions of God, here stands His affirmation that is transmitted on behalf of the Holy Spirit. Remain vigilant in belief, faith, and being obedient to listening and hearing the voice of God as a chosen vessel. God describes His architectural structure as one willing to listen while being thoroughly engaged with the spiritual ups and downs in the process without deflecting. He oversees the love, endurance, integrity, and leadership fulfilled within the designation enlighten with free will. God brings comparison of the structure leading in the evangelical apostleship by the natural free will self-controlled and to the spiritual free will responding to the Holy Spirit. It is through submitting obedience to God's visionary revelation expressing, "Don't lose your structure" from titling of Chosen, Listen, Respond. The book denotes without any hesitation to seek God first from an empty vessel which is prepared and ready to fulfill service. The book is also a mentoring solution to surfacing issues and problems such as the following: When surrounded by great diversity entangling bad and good collaboration, look for the more effective righteous collaboration directed by God while in pray. Though awkward situations may arise leading to degrade and destroy the structure, continue to look toward the righteous narrow pathway while fasting, reading, and meditating in pray for healing. Often, issues linger within a vessel tired of the old manipulated ways, forgetting and looking back, reminiscing and struggling to define the new chapter. The vessel must generate desperation for something better through a committed and intimate godly relationship focusing with a spiritual mentality and less natural in the pursuit of critical and logical changes. To readers of Chosen, Listen, Respond, a process of change begins from the heart which first hears and acts upon the Word of God. These elements such as character, comprehension, conscience, godly power, knowledge, patient ability, and self-control when faithfully maintained will highlight a progressive change occurrence. Thus, believers honestly submitting to the Word of God and the Holy Spirit in love, endurance, integrity, and leadership solidify their change in the spiritual structure.

Have you ever been asked the question, “Is your church a white church or a black church?”…No, it’s God’s Church! Church Diversity discusses topics such as: How we can begin to implement change today What key insights, strategies and practical tips can help Who are the leading voices in diversity and what can they teach the Church This resource is a tool to foster the tough conversations and encourage decision-making to change the face and heart of the Church. There is already a community out there passionate about this topic and moving the Church forward. Hundreds of them uploaded their photos and can be seen throughout the pages of this book. Their twitter names are also included so you can begin connecting with them today! WE ARE CHURCH DIVERSITY “Whatever racial woes we face in America, they cannot be dealt with by politicians or Washington D.C., but rather by the local church…help our nation navigate through this critical and much needed conversation on race.” - J.C. Watts, Jr., Former Member of Congress “…Scott Williams is ever seeking to see this gift opened and embraced. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Churches over the past generations have been weakened by a failure to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of their communities. Many have adopted a narrow vision, focusing on only one aspect of ministry. But in today's environment of faith-based opportunities many Christians are eager to start reaching out to their world with both Good News and good works, and therefore they are searching for appropriate ways to integrate both into their ministry. In Churches That Make a Difference, best-selling author Ron Sider and his coauthors give those involved in community outreach a comprehensive resource for developing holistic ministry--a balance of evangelism and social outreach. Illustrations and helpful organizational tips detail the how-to's of an effective holistic ministry. Case studies that show how different churches across the United States reach out to their communities provide a variety of ideas and practical applications. User-friendly tools are included as well for congregational studies, surveys, evaluations, and community assessments. The authors draw on extensive experience with church ministries and faith-based organizations as they share the life-changing vision and biblical mandate for living the whole gospel. Church leaders will be encouraged in their process of developing and maintaining a holistic ministry, and local churches will rediscover a passion for loving the whole person the way Jesus did.

This book was released on 2024-01-25 with total page 209 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jason F. Moraff challenges the contention that Acts' sharp rhetoric and portrayal of “the Jews” reflects anti-Judaism and supersessionism. He argues that, rather than constructing Christian identity in contrast to Judaism, Acts binds the Way, Paul, and “the Jews” together into a shared identity as Israel, and that together they embark on a journey of repentance with common Jewishness providing the foundation. Acts leverages Jewish kinship, language, cult, and custom to portray the Way, Paul, and “the Jews” as one family debating the direction of their ancestral tradition. Using a historically situated narrative approach, Moraff frames Acts' portrayal of the Way and Paul in relation to the Jewish people as participating in internecine conflict regarding the Jewish tradition-in-crisis, after the destruction of the temple. By exploring ancient ethnicity, Jewish identity and Lukan characterization, images of the Jews, the Way, and Paul, violence in Acts and the theme of blindness in Luke's gospel, the Pauline writings and Acts, Moraff stresses that Acts speaks from “among my own nation,” meaning “the Jews”, and makes it possible to understand Acts' critical characterization of “the Jews” within Second Temple Judaism.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The author has been a Christian missionary, pastor, and an evangelist since 1998 when he joined Evangelist Ivan Tate on a mission to Maun, Botswana. He has since conducted missions and pastor conferences to several other African countries as well as to the Philippines and Mexico and Central and South America. He is the recent author of a book titled President Donald J. Trump: God Jehovah's Chosen Vessel and now has an enormous responsibility to warn the people of the United States and the entire world about the impending return of the Lord Jesus Christ to meet His bride, the church, in the air. To join in the celebration of the impending wedding, one must be born-again, one must be dressed (clothed) in Jesus Christ to be allowed into the wedding of the bride and of the Lamb. This will be in the year 2030, as described in this God-inspired treatise. Jesus said no one knows the day nor the hour, but He did not say anything about the year. He left that for us to find in the Bible, which the Lord has so graciously revealed to His servant and fellow laborer, Santiago. He is hoping and praying that true Christians get out of the closet and start an end-time revival that will explode to the outer parts of this fallen world. The author feels that there is no more time to play church since we have been given an end-time prophet to the nations, and that is none other than President Donald J. Trump. It is the author's prayer that not one of God's children will be left behind to deal with the soon-appearing "Antichrist."
