Jeremiah (1750-1825) married Tirzah Ashley in 1773; he served in Oliver Ashley's Company during the Revolutionary War. Jeremiah and Tirzah's children were born in Claremont, New Hampshire before the family moved, first to New York, later to Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Samuel (176l- 18??) married Buelah McCoy, his second wife, in Claremont, New Hampshire in 1798. Samuel's movements are difficult to trace, but his children, along with Jeremiah's, were also raised in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.
