Wiafe stressed on the importance of technology to rural development and, more importantly, pointed out the role that the church can play in fostering the use of technology for rapid transformation. Atsiatorme proposed the use of African philosophical thoughts in sustainable environmental education in Ghana and posited that sustainable environmental education should be based on African philosophical thought. Mr. Fabrice Fifonsi analysed the role of parliamentarians and local government in the rural development with the utilisation of technology in a systemic approach considering their representative mandate, coupled with their legislative and oversight functions. Rev. Dr. John K. Louis developed a Christian theological work on how to mitigate environmental degradation. His work takes source from the Laudato si of Pope Francis who rightly states that the Eucharist is a source of light and motivation for our concerns for the environment, directing us to be stewards of all creation. Finally, Prof. Amevi Acakpovi et al. presented two papers dealing respectively with energy conservation and efficiency and the adoption of electronic government in tertiary educations.
