As histórias foram analisadas mediante sua relação com o conteúdo conceitual de Ciências Naturais presente na estrutura curricular dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental, com o objetivo de investigar as contribuições das HQs no trabalho pedagógico desenvolvido nas aulas de Ciências Naturais. Apontam-se sugestões para a prática pedagógica em seu locus privilegiado: a escola. Contudo não se percebe os quadrinhos como panaceia para os problemas educacionais da sociedade, mas um instrumental com a potencialidade de viabilizar um ensino significativo e prazeroso para todos os envolvidos no processo dialógico de ensino-aprendizagem. As estratégias de ensino apresentadas são ancoradas na ludicidade, na contextualização e na leitura por andaime.
