Estas jornadas son una edición más de la reunión que las Asociaciones de constitucionalistas española, francesa e italiana realizan anualmente y que en esta ocasión tocó organizar a la Asociación de Constitucionalistas de España. Las sesiones tuvieron lugar en el Senado español los días 29 y 30 de septiembre de 2016. Como se deduce fácilmente del título, la idea del seminario fue reflexionar sobre el estado del Derecho Constitucional en los tres países, sirviendo la discusión como homenaje a los tres constitucionalistas que más influyeron en el Derecho Constitucional de sus respectivos países durante la segunda parte del siglo X y primeros años del siglo XXI. La estructura de la obra response a un esquema "simétrico". Cada país presentó dos ponencias, una relativa a la situación actual del Derecho Constitucional y otra a la aportación de cada uno de los autores homenajeados. El trabajo se cierra con una ponencia de conclusiones.
