Cet ouvrage est le fruit de travaux menés au sein du « Réseau d'études pluridisciplinaires citoyenneté et éducation » (REPCITé) fondé en 2014 par des enseignants-chercheurs en sciences humaines et sociales et des professionnels intervenant dans des dispositifs d'éducation à la citoyenneté. Il comporte trois volets : • des réflexions sur les liens entre citoyenneté, éducation et socialisation, dans une perspective sociohistorique et culturelle ; • des analyses de pratiques et de dispositifs dédiés à l'éducation à la citoyenneté (ateliers philosophiques, conseils d'élèves, conseils de vie lycéenne,conseils municipaux d'enfants, création d'un parcours • citoyen de l'école élémentaire à à l'âge adulte...) ; • des résultats d'enquêtes focalisées sur la construction du rapport à la citoyenneté vue du point de vue des enfants, adolescents et jeunes adultes dans divers cadres éducatifs et de socialisation.
