Vibrational methods (e.g. NMR and NIRS) are used to trace food by global spectrum. The book reviews the current and future techniques including metabolomic techniques.

In this environment, as Sebastiaan Faber argues in Exile and Cultural Hegemony, the Spaniards' conception of their role as intellectuals changed markedly over time.
