When Gill refused, Herbert tried to capture it, leading to a confrontation that ended with Gill comatose and the invention secretly administered to a newborn in a hospital, the son of billionaire Charles Martin. The baby is healthy and fit, but suddenly his body like becomes lifeless. all of a sudden no movement on his body. Astonished Mr Martin shouted, “Doctor... nurses... please save my child” while his wife started crying for her newborn baby. The doctor and nurses entered that room, and the doctor asked the nurse to check on him. The nurse checked the baby by using a stethoscope. And said with a quavering voice...“Sorry, sir, he is dead”. A profound silence filled the room as everyone stood in shock. Suddenly, the baby opens his eyes. Then the baby began speaking like the doctor, “Nurse! Check again” and the doctor started crying like a baby. Both became unconscious at the next moment. Book Synopsis Before We Leave You by : Patricia Cori
Download or read book Before We Leave You written by Patricia Cori and published by North Atlantic Books. This book was released on 2011-04-26 with total page 214 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What if whales and dolphins truly do have a superior intellect, as many believe, and can speak to the human race? What would their message be? In November 2008, gifted clairvoyant Patricia Cori was in Jordan teaching a workshop when a life-changing event occurred. A community of Cetaceans—“a choir of whales and dolphins,” as she describes it—interrupted her talk with a frantic plea for help. Cori was suddenly witness to a devastating scene of suffering, a communal grieving of scores of whales and dolphins “frenzied, lost, and dying.” This was the first of several terrifying calls for help, all of which were immediately followed by mass suicide events as these majestic creatures collectively chose to leave us and our planet. These troubling incidents evolved into the stream of messages for humanity that Cori reveals in this extremely timely work. The whales and dolphins present their deep understanding of our urgent global situation, calling for the human race to restore balance to our ecosystems—especially our dying oceans. For the first time, we read the communications of the Cetaceans and their story of devotion and celebration of life on the Great Planet Earth. We are also given a glimpse of their role in the unfolding of galactic events throughout our solar system, and the message is clear: We must wake up and realize that our continued abuse of the environment is altering the course of Gaia’s progression to the next dimension. Without the whale and dolphin song—without these musicians who hold the oceans in balance—we risk our advancement through the ascension process for which our entire solar system is destined. Before We Leave You is a roadmap to that higher future and a pathway to global transformation. ***NOTE: ELECTRONIC VERSION OF THIS TITLE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE CETACEAN MEDITATIONS CARDS INCLUDED IN THE REGULAR PRINTED VERSION.

Book Synopsis Journey of the Pink Dolphins by : Sy Montgomery
Download or read book Journey of the Pink Dolphins written by Sy Montgomery and published by Chelsea Green Publishing. This book was released on 2009-02-15 with total page 282 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: By the acclaimed author of The Soul of an Octopus and the bestselling memoir The Good Good Pig. When Sy Montgomery ventured into the Amazon to unlock the mysteries of the littleknown pink dolphins, she found ancient whales that plied the Amazon River at dawn and dusk, swam through treetops in flooded forests, and performed underwater ballets with their flexible bodies. But she soon found out that to know the botos, as the dolphins are locally called, you must also know the people who live among them. And so in Journey of the Pink Dolphins, Montgomery—part naturalist, part poet, part Indiana Jones—winds her way through watery tributaries and riverside villages, searching for botos and hearing the tales of locals who believe these ethereal dolphins are shape-shifters—creatures that emerge from the water as splendidly dressed men or women only to enchant their human onlookers, capture their souls, and then carry them away to the Encante, an underwater world. Montgomery takes readers on four separate journeys, exploring the river-dwelling dolphins’ natural history, chronicling their conservation pressures, unraveling their prehistoric roots, and visiting with shamans who delve into the Encante.
Book Synopsis Fantastic Creatures in Mythology and Folklore by : Juliette Wood
Download or read book Fantastic Creatures in Mythology and Folklore written by Juliette Wood and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2018-08-23 with total page 257 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Drawing on historical sources, myth and folklore, Fantastic Creatures in Mythology and Folklore explores the roles of fantastical beasts - particularly the unicorn, the mermaid, and the dragon - in a series of thematic chapters organised according to their legendary dwelling place, be this land, sea, or air. Through this original approach, Juliette Wood provides the first study of mythical beasts in history from the medieval period to the present day, providing new insights into the ways these creatures continue to define our constantly changing relationship to both real and imagined worlds. It places particular emphasis on the role of the internet, computer games, and the cyberspace community, and in doing so, demonstrates that the core medieval myth surrounding these creatures remains static within the ever-increasing arena of mass marketing and the internet. This is a vital resource for undergraduates studying fantastic creatures in history, literature and media studies.

Book excerpt: Throughout the centuries, people from diverse cultures, circumstances and points of view have wrestled with the concept of time. In the 5th Century St. Augustine said, What is time? If no one asks me, I know; but if any person should require me to tell him, I cannot. Time magazine said as the last century closed, While scientists have harnessed the power of the atom, cracked the genetic code and probed the very edges of the universe, they still don't understand time much better than St. Augustine did. Here the author leads a though-provoking discussion that begins in time, ends in eternity, and focuses continually on the Eternal One who is the source of both.

Book Synopsis Anatomy of Spirituality: Portrait of the Soul by : Chander Behl
Download or read book Anatomy of Spirituality: Portrait of the Soul written by Chander Behl and published by FriesenPress. This book was released on 2015-04-27 with total page 517 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The domain of spirituality, separated from its theological overburden, believes in the existence of a spiritual self, presumed to be distinctly separate from the psychological self. The spiritual eternal self, also known as the soul or spirit (sometimes supported by an overarching Spirit), is asserted to be operating behind the ephemeral self. This book takes a contrarian stance; it argues that the premise of the soul concept is obtained through the magic of language, maintained through the marvel of the brain’s biochemistry, and sustained through the mirage of the psychological juggernauts of the brain. The magic, the marvel and the mirage, together, bring about subtle shifts as the linguistic brain suppresses many psychological details, habitually applies mental templates such as inversions and dichotomies, and enhances its language by coining religious and spiritual metaphors. The consequence of these changes is that the usual flickering self begins to be impressed by itself, believing it is buttressed by something transcendental and eternal within: the soul or the spirit. The self, although indoctrinated during its formative years, also begins to assimilate and accept the opinion that the overwhelming weight of religious doctrines and dogmas, the overburden, signifies as the legitimate proof for the eternal soul.
