The quaint rendering is reproduced, but the spelling has been modernized, and a few unimportant and mostly verbal changes have been made. The translation is in the English of the seventeenth century. At that epoch our language had words and expressions in common use which nowadays would hardly be permissible. Of these some few I have eliminated altogether, and the rest I have toned down that there might remain nothing offensive to pious ears.
