Book excerpt: It is one thing to understand theoretically how we build our reality (Part 1 of the trilogy), but something very different to step out of "consensus reality," stop the world and enter a completely different one. The eye of a lizard sees what is unimaginable to us – and yet it can be learned and experienced. We are introduced to the "Nagual-abilities," seeing, stalking, dreaming, shape-shifting and intending on the basis of personal experience reports, and the author reveals as a Nagual of a dreamer-line of Toltec shamanism the art of collectively intended dreaming. He also reveals very intimate, personal experiences in other realities – in completely different ones. -

Book excerpt: Are there more than four dimensions to physical reality? Is it possible to traverse time as well as space? Is there a reality beyond our traditional concepts of time and space? The startling discovery of modern science is that our physical universe is actually finite. Scientists now acknowledge that the universe had a beginning. They call the singularity from which it all began the "Big Bang." While the detail among the many variants of these theories remain quite controversial, the fact that there was a definite beginning has gained widespread agreement. This is, of course, what the Bible has maintained throughout its 66 books.

Book excerpt: Framework of Reality highlights unfolding developments that are revolutionizing our understanding of ourselves and our place in the universe. Scientists and scientifically trained researchers are providing us with a rich and expanding base of knowledge about strange and unusual phenomena observed in quantum physics, cosmology, biology, psychology, disease and healing, death, and reincarnation investigations. It is a companion book to Frontiers of Knowledge, which is a large research book with all the details and all the references. Framework provides all the same information in a summary form. (It can be considered the "Cliffs Notes" for Frontiers of Knowledge.) Insights from quantum physics suggest that the basis of our physical universe is mental—conscious thought. Other discoveries are causing us to redefine our concepts of mind and this elusive thing we call consciousness. The verified near-death out-of-body experiences (OBEs) show that consciousness can exist in a nonphysical form--indicating that mind is not tied to the physical brain. New concepts of reality are also needed to explain the incredibly fine-tuned characteristics of our physical universe. The mysterious nature of dark energy and dark matter suggests that their source resides in subtle-energy dimensions. Strong hints of subtle dimensions are also provided in near-death OBEs, subtle-energy healings, and documented accounts of very unusual mind-body effects. Thousands of between-lives spiritual regression cases and the deeper near-death experiences provide us with fairly consistent descriptions of a nonphysical realm populated by souls living in a highly developed culture that is interacting with humans. This revolutionary information demands a revised and expanded view of reality—one in which spirituality is the underlying source of reality. Highlights on all of the above and more are presented in Framework of Reality, and they provide readers with the outline of this new revolution in knowledge.

Book excerpt: Frontiers of Knowledge is the story of unfolding developments that are revolutionizing our understanding of ourselves and our place in the universe. We are birthing a new era in which our ideas about the nature and source of reality are swiftly changing. Insights from quantum physics suggest that the basis of our physical world is actually mental—conscious thoughts. Other discoveries are causing us to redefine our concepts of mind and the elusive thing we call consciousness. All strongly hint that spirituality is the underlying source of everything. Frontier scientists and scientifically trained researchers are providing us with a rich and expanding base of knowledge through systematic investigations of startling phenomena that have been observed in quantum physics, cosmology, biology, psychology, disease and healing, death, near-death experiences, reincarnation experiences, and those occurring in spiritual hypnosis on the nature of the spiritual realm. New concepts of reality are especially needed to explain the incredibly finetuned characteristics and the mysterious nature of our physical universe. Ninety-five percent of the universe’s energy and mass are a mystery to scientists, and for the moment, we resort to naming them dark matter and dark energy. The last time a comparable knowledge revolution occurred was in the late sixteenth century when astronomers determined that the planets revolved around the sun, not the earth. Historians call it the Copernican Revolution because it led to modern Western science. From one perspective, the new era predicted in this book—a revolution in its own right—can be considered the completion of the quantum revolution by defining and explaining the role of consciousness in our universe. An underlying aspect of this new revolution is the sense that humanity is moving into a new era of rapidly expanding knowledge of the human spirit (our soul aspect) and non-physical realities. Until now, this emerging knowledge has not been organized into a coherent and comprehensive structure. Frontiers of Knowledge provides the first outline of this new structure of reality.

Is the Christian faith just about securing a place in heaven when we die? In What on Earth is Heaven? James Paul explores the radical truth of what the Bible says about heaven and the afterlife, and its relevance for your life here and now on earth. Unpacking the biblical story of the separation and reunion of heaven and earth, he shows that heaven isn't a place somewhere 'out there' but a dimension of reality - the dimension where God's will is done. The Good News isn't that we get to escape to heaven, but that God invites us to be a part of his plan to bring the kingdom of heaven to our square inch of the earth. Insightful and accessible, What on Earth is Heaven? is a book for anyone wanting a deeper understanding of the Bible's teaching on heaven, or anyone who has wondered about the true meaning of finding heaven on earth. Life-affirming and uplifting, this book will fire your imagination as to how you can be a part of bringing heaven to the world around you.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book introduces the Map of Meaning which provides a clear, simple and profound framework of the dimensions and process of living and working meaningfully. The Map of Meaning is based on over 20 years' research into the insights and practice of ordinary people as they search for, lose and find meaning. Incorporating the ideas of philosophers, psychologists and sociologists, this book describes how human beings wrestle with, and answer, questions such as, "What gives my life and work meaning?", "How can I balance inspiration and reality and maintain positive momentum?" and "How do we integrate meaningfulness into our workplaces?". Innate human knowledge is captured in a practical model that makes understanding and working with issues of meaning clear and accessible to everyone. At an individual level this book helps people to define and stay in contact with what is most important to them as they grapple with the real problems of daily life. It shows how they can stay in charge of keeping the human search for meaning alive, especially in the face of the challenges that exist in organizational life. Because the dimensions of meaning are shared, the second half of the book focuses on how we can bring an awareness of what creates meaningful work into our thinking about the practice and design of organisations. The authors recognize that in the current economic context a simple, yet profound guide for humanity is essential, precisely because organizational life has become so intensely directed towards a singular economic goal. They argue that it is vital that people have an easy, powerful way to reclaim the significance of meaning in their working lives both individually and at a whole of organization level. Updated with new chapter material and case studies, this second edition offers profound insights for anyone who is interested in creating more meaning and purpose in work and organizations – from a CEO to a blue-collar worker or consultant. It is for those searching for ways to re-energize their roles or change their careers. It is for anyone who firmly believes that it must be possible to align our deeper life purposes with our daily actions in the workplace. It is for anyone who is committed to creating workplaces that support and enable the experience of work that feels worth doing.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Is knowledge discovered, or just invented? Can we ever get outside ourselves to know how reality is in itself, independent of us? Philosophical realism raises the question whether in our knowing we connect with an independent reality--or only connect with our own mental constructs. Far from being a silly parlor game, the question impacts our lives concretely and deeply. Modern Western culture has been infected with antirealism and the doubt, skepticism, subjectivism, relativism, and atheism that attends it--not to mention distrust and arbitrary (mis)use of reality. Premier scientist-turned-philosopher Michael Polanyi stepped aside from research to offer an innovative account of knowing that takes its cue from how discovery actually happens. Polanyi defied the antirealism of the twentieth century, sounding a ringing note of hope in his repeated claim that in discovery, we know we have made contact with reality because "we have a sense of the possibility of indeterminate future manifestations." And that sense marks contact with reality, because it is the way reality is: abundant, generous, and fraught with as-yet-unnameable possibilities. This book examines that distinctive claim, contrasting it to the wider philosophical discussions regarding realism and antirealism in the recent decades. It shows why Polanyi's outlook is superior, and why that matters, not just to scientific discoverers, but to us all.
