Por otra parte, el tratamiento didáctico que se propone otorga progresivamente mayor protagonismo al alumno, propiciando así actitudes positivas y responsables en lo que al cuidado del cuerpo y la salud se refiere. Pretende ser una guía didáctica para el profesor. Para ello, además del diseño curricular de este bloque temático (objetivos, contenidos, metodología, criterios de evaluación, etc.), se presentan también, minuciosamente desarrolladas y secuenciadas, un total de 13 sesiones teóricas y 51 sesiones prácticas, así como 29 fichas de trabajo para los alumnos. En estas fichas conceptualizarán su trabajo práctico, desde el simple registro de ejercicios, tiempos, frecuencia cardiaca, etc., hasta el análisis y valoración de su práctica o la propuesta de nuevas tareas a realizar. Los contenidos teóricos, así como las fichas de trabajo correspondientes a cada curso, se encuentran también en los cuadernos del alumno que se han elaborado para 11⁄4 y 21⁄4 ciclo con el fin de facilitar sus procesos de aprendizaje y la labor del profesor.
