An active member of a non-denominational, word of faith church for several years, Maria spoke in tongues, preached the cross, prophesied and enthusiastically participated in worship, prayer and praise on a daily basis. Yet, she was bound---consistently tormented by demons who projected blasphemous thoughts into her mind and accused and condemned her daily in an audible voice. One day, Maria had a dream that showed her that she had 3 phython snakes inside of her. In her dream, Maria was told "Find Pam and seek deliverance." Maria's is a landmark case that brought forth amazing revelations.

Detailed information is given on counseling those with demonic problems, how demons enter people, and how to cast them out. The author mentions mistakes he made and how to avoid them. Included is when the LORD revealed to the author, at age 5, that he would one day be called into this ministry. His first demonic encounter was at a Taco Bell. Also several examples of supernatural occurrences such as levitation, objects moved, locked doors opening at night, ugly brown blood coming out of a person's mouth during counseling that was spit around the room, demonic tongues spoken out of the demon-indwelled, unusual cold air in the bedroom of the demonized, demons scratching and ripping flesh, a demonized person walking at night in trances to different locations, and other demonic supernatural happenings. An entire chapter is devoted to explaining - using the Greek - whether a Christian can have a demon in their body. At the end of the book, information is given for setting up a recovery program for the person Jesus sets free from the demons. Also, the various superstitions people commonly use are exposed. Fairies, leprechauns, and other little spiritual creatures are evaluated according to Scripture. Both success and failure of the people Jesus set free are mentioned, as well as those who turned away from Biblical guidance.

This book was released on 2020-09-17 with total page 404 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The purpose of this book is to help mental health professionals increase their cultural competence to better serve Pentecostal and Charismatic Christians who are congregants in the world’s fastest-growing religious movement. My focus is twofold. First, I aim to increase the reader’s awareness and knowledge about Christians who live their faith within Pentecostal cultures. Second, I hope to increase the reader’s knowledge about the assessment and treatment of Pentecostal and Charismatic Christians with mental health needs based on a review of research and recommendations from experienced clinicians. My approach to assessment and treatment is the commonly held view that best practices are holistic. Therefore, I will attempt to integrate Pentecostal and Charismatic spirituality with assessment and treatment in ways that respect the spirituality of the person seeking treatment and enhances therapeutic outcomes. “The first part of the book can help all readers…understand people who live into that religion. The second part of the book is a practical and insightful guide to effective helping for psychological difficulties. I highly recommend this book to anyone who seeks to understand and help Pentecostals and Charismatics.” —Everett L. Worthington, Jr., Commonwealth Professor Emeritus ***** “…a well written, comprehensive, and very helpful guide to understanding and counseling Pentecostal and Charismatic Christians. It is a substantial and unique contribution to Christian counseling and also to the field of counseling and psychotherapy. Siang-Yang Tan, PhD, Senior Professor of Psychology, Fuller Theological Seminary and author of Counseling and Psychotherapy: A Christian Perspective, and Shepherding God’s People. a must read not only for Pentecostal and Charismatic counselors but for anyone in the mental health field.” —Tony Richie, D.
