Book excerpt: Un des soucis majeurs des constructeurs automobiles a toujours été l'intégration de l'intelligence dans les cartes de contrôle des véhicules. Ceci dans le but d'assister le conducteur dans ses manoeuvres, augmenter son confort et améliorer sa sécurité. Ce travail est une contribution au diagnostic du comportement dynamique des véhicules automobiles par approches neuromimétiques. Le but est de détecter tout comportement dynamique anormal ou dangereux afin de prévenir rapidement le conducteur pour revenir dans une situation de conduite normale. En principe, les systèmes de sécurité doivent être rapides, leur taux de fausses alarmes et de non détection doivent être réduits. L'état de sécurité du véhicule est obtenu grâce à une estimation en ligne de certaines variables jugées cruciales tels que la réaction verticale, l'angle de lacet et le glissement de la roue. Des réseaux de neurones de type multicouches tels que le Perceptron multicouches et le réseau à fonctions radiales de base sont utilisés à cet effet. Ainsi, pour générer la abse de données essentielle pour l'apprentissage des réseaux de neurones estimateurs de modèles, on crée sur le simulateur des manoeuvres de slalom et de profil de vitesse sur des routes sèches et mouillées. On valide les résultats sur une manoeuvre de double changement de voie sous différents cas d'adhérence.

Book excerpt: L'estimation du confort vibratoire des véhicules de transports guidés consiste à déterminer la réponse en accélération aux défauts de voie d'un modèle de leur comportement dynamique ; puis à filtrer cette réponse au moyen de filtres physiologiques représentatifs de la perception des vibrations par l'être humain. Les méthodologies existantes sont toutes basées sur une hypothèse de non-interaction des véhicules au sein d'une rame qui restreint l'étude à un modèle de véhicule isolé en négligeant les interactions inter véhiculaires. Une étude de la dynamique de rame, menée sur des modèles éléments finis simples, remet en cause cette hypothèse en révélant d'une part l'existence de modes de rame et d'autre part leur contribution significative si ils se trouvent excités. De manière générale, le nombre de ces modes croit avec le nombre de véhicules attelés, tandis que leurs fréquences propres diminuent à mesure qu'un nombre croissant de véhicules est impliqué. Une méthodologie d'évaluation du confort vibratoire des véhicules de transports guides en rame est proposée. Elle fait appel à une représentation multi corps flexible de la rame. Les chaudrons sont assimilés à des poutres flexibles dont les paramètres sont déterminés de façon à reproduire les premiers modes d'ensemble des chaudrons. L’identification est réalisée par le biais d'une optimisation. L’exploitation du modèle de rame permet de situer le véhicule le plus pénalisé au plan du confort et de quantifier l'action des autres véhicules sur ce dernier. Le véhicule le plus inconfortable identifié, il est envisageable de le modéliser plus finement tout en représentant l'action des autres véhicules sous forme d'excitations complémentaires aux défauts de voie.

Book excerpt: Le travail présenté s'inscrit dans la problématique de modélisation et de commande de la dynamique d'un véhicule automobile associant études théoriques et simulations numériques. L'originalité de ce travail consiste à utiliser les énergies développées par le véhicule et la fonction de dissipation de Rayleigh pour une modélisation globale de sa dynamique. Le modèle global, ainsi obtenu, est ensuite simplifié pour faciliter la synthèse des lois de commande aussi bien avec une approche linéaire que non linéaire. La premère partie de la thèse est dédiée à la modélisation globale de la dynamique du véhicule en utilisant le formalisme complet de Lagrange. Le modèle complet obtenu est de 20 degrés de liberté. Il tient compte du comportement des différentes parties composant le véhicule. Le but de cette modélisation est de disposer d'un modèle capable de décrire et d'évaluer le comportement non linéaire du véhicule dans des différentes situations délicates. Par exemple, le freinage ou l'accélération dans un virage. La deuxième partie de la thèse a été consaccrée particulièrement au problème de la synthèse des lois de commandes stabilisantes par rétroaction et le suivi de trajectoire. Les modèles considérés sont ceux établis dans la première partie. Ces modèles sont fortement non linéaires. Les stratégies de commande ont été conçues en tenant compte de ces non linéarités et sans aucun type de linéarisation.
