Na verdade, o título do livro antigo e seu conteúdo careciam de mudanças, dado que o “provão” do Ministério da Educação já foi substituído, e algumas considerações sobre aspectos negativos de alguns professores avaliadores já estão superadas. Do lançamento do livro até hoje, a ques tão da avaliação está muito mais ligada ao ato de ensinar em si, em que o bom professor, aquele que sabe ensinar, passa a ter proble mas menores ao avaliar. Assim, concebi um novo título dentro de uma nova forma de conteúdo, em que priori zei a questão do ensinar bem e que está in timamente ligada ao avaliar melhor. Enfoquei muito mais os professores-avaliadores em seus aspectos positivos porque reconheço que muito já se trabalhou em relação a erros. Hoje, em nosso mundo educacional, sa bemos bem o que não devemos fazer; impor tante se torna, então, buscar com persistência o que deve ser feito. Está, portanto, em suas mãos, prezado professor e professora, uma visão reformula da, buscando melhor ensinar e avaliar.
