He chose a name to reflect the vision for the ministry and would stimulate each member to live victoriously, no matter circumstances! I served as the Director of Evangelism at the local church. Most were bitterly disappointed--segregation was still the law of the land. For many, disappointment became a determination to fight discrimination with the same resolve that had defeated the Axis.
