Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Human Magnet Syndrome: The Codependent Narcissist Trap is a complete rewrite of Ross's first book. Not only is the book re-written, re-organized, updated and expanded, it contains over 125 more pages than the original. Ross provides a more explicit rendering of The Human Magnet Syndrome, that includes new theories, explanations and concepts. The information on Gaslighting and The Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome, like the rest of the book, is cutting edge and completely original. This book contains many more case examples and stories of Ross's own codependency recovery. Like its predecessor, it is written for both the layman and professional. Men and women have been magnetically and irresistibly drawn together into romantic relationships, not so much by what they see, feel and think, but more by invisible forces. Codependents and Pathological Narcissists are enveloped in a seductive dreamlike state; however, it will later unfold into a painful "seesaw" of love, pain, hope and disappointment. The soul mate of the codependent's dreams will become the narcissist of their nightmares. Readers of the Human Magnet Syndrome will better understand why they, despite their dreams for true love, find themselves hopelessly and painfully in love with partners who hurt them. This book will guide and inspire both the layman and the professional.

Do you find yourself ruled by perfectionism? When it comes to dealing with and overcoming the effects of this fallen, mortal world, there are essentially two paths to take. One encourages and supports us to manage our pain, hurts, and insecurities with willfulness and control. This path is called codependency. The other invites us to experience, learn, and become polished through our afflictions. This path is living in a state of charity. These two paths are often confused. Codependency can very easily look like and feel like charity. This book explores both subjects, drawing upon modern-day revelation, scriptures, and therapeutic experts in the field of codependency. Overcoming codependency is explored by teaching the reader how to apply the Atonement of Jesus Christ to this pervasive problem. Book jacket.

Book excerpt: #x2605 Buy the paperback version of this book and get the eBook FREE #x2605 Do you want to have the courage to trust yourself, speak up for yourself, say "no," and enforce boundaries in your relationships? Do you find yourself always in the position of being acaretaker, sacrificing your own needs in favor of someone else''s, and taking on other people''s responsibilities and consequences? Have you ever been a people-pleaser, trapped by your own over commitments to come to the rescue of everyone around you, and work to ensure everyone else''s happiness but your own? If you have said yes to any of these questions, you may be exhibiting signs of codependency. While the term codependency came about to describe alcoholic behavior, codependency is not just for those suffering from substance abuse. And codependency can be present in all types of relationships--romantic, platonic, or with friends and family. Codependency comes in many forms and vary degrees of severity, but we''ve all been there at some point. Always trying to "fix" someone. Finding ourselves constantly attracting the same types of low-functioning people who are always in some sort of "crisis" and we''re always coming to their rescue. Having a hard time saying "no" when we know we should. Or maybe your relationship starts off great and you feel happy, but at some point you find yourself in a position where you get wrapped up in your partner''s life, and push aside your own goals, dreams, and habits. What seemed like healthy attachment has now turned into you basing your happiness on someone else''s and constantly seeking validation from outside yourself. Courage to Cure Codependency will help you avoid codependency at all stages of a relationship. It will help you eliminate codependency in a current relationship, heal from the ending of a codependent relationship, and prevent getting into a codependent relationship in the future. Even though you may be exhibiting codependent behavior, it is not who you are, and your best self is underneath the parts of you that are holding you back. In this book, you will learn: How to practice saying no and enforcing boundaries How to reframe your thoughts to empower yourself and prevent future codependent behavior Seven steps to heal from a codependent relationship How to reclaim your self-esteem and self-confidence The key things you must do in order to avoid getting back into another codependent relationship How to free yourself from guilt of refusing to continue to be an enabling caretaker How to salvage a codependent relationship and turn it around How to identify which type of codependent you are Why your codependency isn''t your fault The surprisingly innocent behavior you may have done as a child that is causing codependent behavior in adulthood Sneaky ways codependency shows up in relationships and the harmful codependent behaviors you may not realize you''re exhibiting And much more... You deserve to have healthy relationships. It''s never too late to make a change, even if you have "always been this way," and jumped from relationship to relationship, or held on to dysfunctional partners longer than you should have, repeating negative cycles and patterns for fear of being alone. You have the strength to free yourself from the burden of codependency, find your inner power, discover inner peace, and uncover the healthiest version of yourself. Book excerpt: "Born in the cauldron of personal experience of suffering and healing and honed through years of professional experience, this book will help anyone understand the attractors of love and consequent suffering. I recommend it to couples who are mystified by the depth and repitition of their pain and joy and to therapists whose destiny is to help them." ~ Harville Hendrix, Ph.D., co-author with Helen LaKelly Hunt of Making Marriage Simple: Transform the Relationship you Have Into the Relationship you Want Since the dawn of civilization, men and women have been magnetically and irresistibly drawn together into romantic relationships, not so much by what they see, feel and think, but more by invisible forces. When individuals with healthy emotional backgrounds meet, the irresistible “love force” creates a sustainable, reciprocal and stable relationship. Codependents and emotional manipulators are similarly enveloped in a seductive dreamlike state; however, it will later unfold into a painful “seesaw” of love, pain, hope and disappointment. The soul mate of the codependent’s dreams will become the emotional manipulator of their nightmares. Readers of the Human Magnet Syndrome will better understand why they, despite their dreams for true love, find themselves hopelessly and painfully in love with partners who hurt them. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Are you worried you might be in a codependent relationship? Has someone told you that you're in a codependent relationship? What does that even mean? A codependent relationship, to put it in simple terms, is a dysfunctional relationship. It is the kind of relationship where one person either supports or enables another person's poor behaviors. Why do they do this? Because they would rather cling to a relationship that is unhealthy. After all, being codependent is better than being alone, right? Wrong. Enabling another person's poor habits is not a sign of love or care. When you indirectly encourage their poor behaviors like drinking, addiction, narcissism, or the mental struggles they are going through, you're not being the "supportive" one in the relationship. You're the codependent one because you are doing it for all the wrong reasons. Why do people stay in unhealthy relationships? One of the major reasons is loneliness. You don't want to be alone. Nobody wants to find themselves alone. We have fooled ourselves into thinking that any kind of relationship is better than being alone. This is why we get stuck in these unhealthy relationship patterns, and we become codependent. Codependents struggle with low self-esteem, poor boundaries, people-pleasing tendencies, the need for control, a lack of communication, problems with intimacy, and they could even struggle with being in denial. The way to overcome this? Gain insight. Understand as much as you can about this condition and you will find that it is much easier to overcome the problem. This is why you have decided to buy this book. You know there is a problem, and you've done the remarkable first step in wanting to fix the problem. Cure Codependency is the ultimate, comprehensive guide that you need to help you break free and reclaim your independence. In this book, you will learn: What is means to be codependent The Love Attitude scale The duality of the mind when it comes to codependency Why codependency will never be considered a healthy relationship, no matter how much you care for the person. The eleven key signs of being codependent Why you need to learn how to say no What is a narcissist and why you continue to stay in such a relationship if you are codependent Why a narcissist seeks to manipulate you The connection between the fear of loneliness and codependency A look at what toxic relationships are and how to recognize those early signals What it means to be an empath How being an empath is different from codependency How to FINALLY break free of the codependency cycle The steps you need to start building healthy boundaries and reinforcing them The road to recovery is not an easy one, but with Cure Codependency, it is a POSSIBLE one. If a healthy relationship is truly something you care about, you will find the strength to overcome your troubles for the people you love, just like how you find a way to get the things you want the most in your life. When you go after something you really want, you don't make excuses. Are you ready to break free of this cycle?

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Can you think of anything more difficult than trying to cope with your own mental illness? How about while doing that, trying to deal with a significant other's problems as well? If you can relate to this, then keep on reading... Relationships are designed to help us live a better, more-fruitful life filled with love and symbiotic benefits. We are meant to interact in networks of friends and family members, without losing our own distinct personality. So, what happens when our boundaries become so blurred that we lose all sense of identity? How do we react when we cannot filter the emotions and pain of the people we meet? For the first three decades of my life, I was hopeless at relationships. A natural empath, I felt all the pains of my mother's codependent existence with my father. At school or on the streets, I was attuned to every row and argument, and I felt small each time I witnessed them. As I grew up, my mood was determined by the moods of others around me. I felt happy when others were happy, and I was irretrievably sad when others around me were sad. Worst of all, I could see beyond even their masks of happiness to their innate sadness. My daily routine was essentially a series of sad mood after sad mood. I wanted so badly to be the hero for everyone around me, and that led me into a codependent relationship with my ex-husband. Built upon a less-than-ideal childhood, I grew to love the feeling of being needed to clean my husband's life up. I became addicted to him so much that I lost who I really was. In the process of caring for him, I forgot to take care of me. The result was that I suffered severe mental break-downs regularly. For two full years, I was a nervous wreck seeking appreciation and understanding from the same narcissistic people who fed off my insecurities. It was not until I learnt to cut them off that I was able to return to being me. I only started to enjoy myself when I went for therapy and learnt to rebuild the boundaries I had lost in my relationship. In "Cure Codependency and Conquer as an Empath" I have compiled my experience as an empath, and in my codependent relationships to teach you: What a true empath feels The foundations that lead us to codependent relationships later in life How narcissistic partners seek to manipulate you to do their bidding An Acid-test for knowing if your relationship is toxic or not The difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships The flow of energy that allows empaths to get absorbed in other people's emotions Why Mindfulness is the way back to taking back control of your life Why you need to redraw boundaries and start the rebuilding process now Why therapy is the surest path out of toxic relationships To stop feeling bad about what is essentially a superpower and focus on using your healing powers to help others without getting destroyed in the process. And so much more. Are you interested in limiting the effects of narcissism directed towards you? Do you want to learn why you get absorbed in other people's emotions and lose yourself even in strangers? Do you want to know how to take back control of your life and love yourself every moment? Take this chance to finally become master of your life once again by clicking the 'add to cart' button! It is the first step to learning to live for yourself once again! Are you in a codependent relationship, where you place another person's problems above your own problems? Has the person gotten so used to your helping to the extent that he/she now expects you to do everything for him/her without asking questions? Because we are so enmeshed with the other person, we feel nothing but fear, doubt, confusion, shame and even guilt when we consider terminating the relationship. Although we can hear a little voice inside our heads urging us to move forward, all too often our worries overwhelm us and cause us to stay stuck. We no longer know whose thoughts or feelings are in our heads. All we can feel is fear. If you are contemplating ending a relationship you know in your heart must end, but are struggling with crippling negative emotions, Lisa’s story is just the right dose of inspiration you will need as you begin facing your new roads ahead. No stranger to heartache, Lisa bravely ended her dysfunctional marriage and took her three small children with her. With nothing to cling to but hope, Lisa courageously learned to navigate her way through unknown terrains, and eventually found the will to even love again.
