Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This year was an off year for Apples. At least it was in my yard. Others in my neighborhood reported a record year as far as the number of Apples on their trees goes. However, my trees only really invest in producing Apples every other year. And this year they were saving their energy to reach for the sun. Still I must have gotten over 100 Apples off of my two Apple trees. It’s fine that I didn’t get more Apples because I’m busy doing a million other things including, of course, writing books. In 2017, I wrote Strawberry Cheesecake Applesauce. That treat always makes me drool. This year I’m writing Chocolate Covered Cherries Applesauce, which is another treat that will make you be rude and salivate. I hope that you enjoy these Recipes just as much as those in my previous book. And I hope that you get creative and make your own Gourmet Applesauce Recipes. You can find tips on choosing the right Apples and flavors in Strawberry Cheesecake Applesauce. I won’t bother repeating those tips here. Recipes are handy to have. I often use them as a starting point. But mostly, my cooking is an art. And of course, I don’t write down how much of what I put in any of my Applesauces when I’m making them. Notwithstanding that, I’ve added a chapter at the end of this book titled Recipes. That’s where I’ve tried to recall how much of each ingredient I used in each Recipe. Each of my Gourmet Applesauce Recipes starts with my Basic Gourmet Applesauce Recipe which is also included in the Recipes chapter. Perhaps I wrote that chapter as an attempt to assuage my guilt for not writing each Recipe down at the time I made it. No, that can’t be true. I don’t feel any guilt about that at all. I must have written it because I wanted you to be able to repeat my successes. I wrote it for you, so that your attempts at making my Recipes wouldn’t turn out to be total disasters. Of course, when making a Gourmet Applesauce, it’s hard to create a total flop. However, as you’ll learn in my Orange Spiced Punch Applesauce chapter, you may end up with something totally different from what you had in mind when you started. Oh those Apples and flavors! They can be such tricksters. Rating G; Reading Level Easy 5th Grade; Longest Word - Transmogrified

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I call Personal Electric Vehicles IEVs. That’s because people want their Electric Vehicle to be more personal. They want it to resonate with who they are (I). Can you blame them? Some call these vehicles micromobility. An IEV is like your alter ego. For some people, this would be a Tesla or a Nissan Leaf. But, IEVs are more personal. That means they’re typically smaller. Often they’re smaller or not much bigger than the driver / rider. Ask yourself these questions. If I put wheels on my feet and added some batteries for electricity, what would I transform into? How fast would I be able to go? And, how much fun could I have getting there? That’s the IEV for you. What is a Personal Electric Vehicle (IEV)? How am I defining them? #1 It’s Fully Electric: I won’t be including any Hybrid Vehicles which use fossil fuels. #2 It’s Personal: This vehicle not only gets you around, it is the definition of who you are. #3 It’s Usually for One Person: One part of whether a vehicle is personal or not, is its capacity. While personal seems to imply one person, I’m going to include vehicles which hold two. You might normally be the only person in or on your vehicle. However, every so often, you might want to or need to, take someone else along. Perhaps you never go anywhere without your BFF. So, what kind of vehicles are we talking about here? Electric Skateboards, e-bikes, Micro cars and many more. I cover IEVs that travel on the ground - on the street and off-road. I cover those that go in and under the water and those which fly. I look at vehicles which are used on the farm and in the warehouse. The best part, is that I help you create an evaluation check-list for when you buy your IEV - the personal electric vehicle that is you.

And well, Wizards were different. And maybe things were different here. But for her, things were the same. People still walked through Appli as if she wasn’t there. Of course she was there, she was Solid as …. She was going to say, Solid as a brick. But she thought of bricks as being rather plain. And she certainly was anything but plain. Well, she couldn’t think for the moment of something which was solid, but which was not plain. So Appli got out her Paintbrush and painted a scene, hoping it would have something solid in it. Book excerpt: A friend who read The Dancer, said she felt like she was right in the story. When the Dancer danced, she danced. But perhaps you don’t relate to the Dancer, there are plenty of other main characters you can relate to. There’s the Dancer, who is now called the Dancer Magnifique, or just Magnifique for short. There’s her husband, Straight-Spear, the Chief’s son. He dances on his horse, Rides-Like-Thunder. Rides-Like-Thunder is a god. Magnifique and Straight-Spear’s daughter is now Dancer, following in her mother’s footsteps. However, she will dance atop Rides-Like-Thunder, while her mother will not. There’s the Shaman and the Director. Their first meeting didn’t go well, as she swung Dancer’s shoes at him and knocked him out. But now they’re buddy-buddy. They act as Grandparents to Dancer. And there’s Ramon and Raul – Magnifique’s boyfriends before she met Straight-Spear. Now they’re buddy-buddy. In the fourth story, Dancer is left all alone. She is old enough to be all alone. But she’s used to being among several adults, whom she can rely on for help, most of the time. She doesn’t need their help, but just in case. All the adults in her life have left, including Rides-Like-Thunder. They’ve all gone to other worlds for various reasons. They will be back, but for she is alone. And it’s enough to make the Author cry (I forgot to mention that the Author is one of the main characters.) She was all alone, so she did what she always did – she danced. She danced for joy, she danced for strength, she danced for sorrow, she danced for weariness. She danced because she didn’t know what else to do. She had been dancing ever since they left. What had it been, 7, maybe 8 days now? She didn’t know. At some point, she would fall exhausted, asleep, and stop dancing. But not yet. She felt she could go on for ages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book details the design for a smaller living space. You can adjust the plans to meet your desires and needs. If this book says to do something one way and you want to do it another way, investigate how to do it another way and then do it that way. Hopefully this idea will encourage your own ideas. And, hopefully, it will more than halve the carbon footprint of a typical home in the US.5,000 square feet may sound like a lot of space, until you realize we’re talking about land area and that 10,000 sq ft is the typical size of a city residential lot. 10,000 sq ft is a little less than 1/4 acre. So, 5,000 sq ft would be half that much or about 1/10 acre. Since we’re reducing the land area by 1/2, we should also reduce the house and the car by 1/2. The Not So Big House reduced houses to about 2000 sq ft. In this project we will go even further, reducing the house to 500 sq ft. Many starter homes, modulars, trailer homes, and two-bedroom apts are 1000 sq ft. Large RV’s and Houseboats are about 1000 sq ft or less. 500 sq ft is the size of a small 1 bedroom apt or a large studio apt. We could make the house 1000 sq ft by giving it a basement or a second floor, but we want to reduce the amount of house we have to heat, cool, clean, and maintain. Some of things I’ve designed to maximize the space in your home and garage have yet to be invented. If they are never invented, there is still plenty of room in both the house and the garage. The inventions just give you that much more space. One of these inventions is the car. The car is a modular car, meaning it comes in pieces or modules which can be easily taken apart and put back together. The main module or cab of the car holds 2 people and a few groceries. Most of the time, the only module you need is the main module. The other two modules are a back seat, and an enclosed truck bed or van module. You can even attach all three modules together and still have a car that is small enough to fit easily in a 1 car garage.
