Eine Posttraumatische Belastungsstörung (im Weiteren mit PTBS abgekürzt) entwickelt sich, wenn das Kind über längere Zeit extremen Stressereignissen bzw. einer Traumatisierung ausgesetzt wurde. Interesse für diese Thematik entstand in dem Seminar „Opferhilfe“, welches sowohl die Traumatisierung als kritisches Lebensereignis als auch die möglichen Folgestörungen wie die PTBS behandelte. In diesem Zusammenhang wurden auch verschiedene Therapiemethoden vorgestellt. Besonders prägnant erwies sich für mich der Kinder- und Jugendtherapeut Andreas Krüger. Seine traumatherapeutische Arbeit wurde in einem kurzen Film dargestellt. Die Tatsache, dass Andreas Krüger sogar mit einem 3 jährigen Jungen eine Traumatherapie erfolgreich abschließen konnte, beeindruckte mich am meisten.
