An early member of bohemian circles in Lima, La Paz, and Mexico City, Portal distinguished herself as the sole female founder of the American Popular Revolutionary Alliance (APRA). Fue una escritora fantasma, pero ahora ha decidido mostrar su trabajo al resto. Madre de 4 hijos y viviendo en Canada, empezó sus trabajos y piensa seguir escribiendo hasta el final de sus días.
