This book was released on 2021-08-25 with total page 72 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The techniques of mundane astrology inherited from tradition are not the most suitable for explaining and predicting events, as in reality they only capture the last links in the chain of celestial causes that underlie them. In fact, the primary causes of all events always and only reside in the Eighth Sphere, that is, in the sky of the constellations and fixed stars. In this book, the Stellar Astrology techniques are developed and applied to the real prediction of world events, but also to natal charts. Heaven and the stars that populate it are living beings. The various parts of the starry sky - constellations, parts of constellations (asterisms) and single stars - are not isolated, but communicate with each other, and therefore must be conceived as parts of a community, similarly to the relations between men who live on this earth. Indeed, our communities and our earthly bonds are nothing but the reflection and manifestation of these celestial bonds. And, just as happens between men and between specific groups of men, between some of these parts of the sky there are privileged relationships. This book explains which are the astronomical and astrological factors that highlight these ties of "kinship", thus also indicating the existence of similar relations existing between the things of the world linked to those stars. It is a real science, based on rigorous criteria, and in this book it is illustrated by providing the student with a general method that he can then apply to any person, thing or event he intends to study in depth. It will be seen how the identification of these stellar links is also essential for correctly interpreting a birth chart. Only in this way astrology becomes what it should always be, that is, the sapiential matter par excellence, as the only one capable of explaining and demonstrating the true nature and origin of earthly reality.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A richly detailed, in-depth look at fixed stars and their role in affecting astrological predictions. Since prehistory, humanity has been held in thrall by the night sky, captivated by the mystery of the stars. Seeking to make sense of such a magical overhead landscape, people used the stars to relate beliefs, creation stories, and mythologies. And just as the fixed stars have ancient origins in human life, their astrological interpretations get right to the heart of our lives. Celebrated astrologer Bernadette Brady melds modern astrological techniques with Egyptian and early Greek mythology to bring astrologers to a deeper understanding of the horoscope and provides delineations for using fixed stars in chart interpretation. Her methods open a window on the fixed stars, revealing how a major star in a person’s chart indicates the stage of life in which it is active and how it affirms the person’s life journey through the mythology that the star represents. Though the fixed stars have been watched and studied for all of human history, Brady’s Book of Fixed Stars continues to be the astrological bible for how to use them in practice. This is an essential resource that should be on every astrologer’s bookshelf. The book includes Paran maps, star maps, star phases, and mythologies for over sixty stars, New insights into the natal use of fixed stars, as well as their use in mundane astrology, Extensive appendices of graphs and tables to help astrologers find rising or setting dates for any given location, And a listing of 176 stars with their 21st-century positions. Originally published by Weiser Books in 1999, this Weiser Classics edition includes a new foreword by Chloe Margherita.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "A fresh, profound, and fun way to look at all things astro while also making spot-on observations about your pop culture faves." —Cosmopolitan A soulful exploration of the twelve astrological signs embodied by our living “stars”—from divas to philosophers, poets to punks—and the ways they can help us better understand ourselves and each other, from the wildly popular astrology columnist for New York magazine’s The Cut. Whether you believe in it or not, astrology’s job has never been to give us a preordained vision of the future, nor to sort us into twelve neat personality types, but to provide the tools and language for delving into our weirdest, best, most thorny contradictions, and for understanding ourselves and each other in our full complexity. The stars and the planets then are more like mirrors that show us who we are, that give us an understanding of how to be and how to move through the world; how certain people do it differently, and what we can learn by studying them. In Madame Clairevoyant’s Guide to the Stars, Claire Comstock-Gay brings the sky down to Earth and points to our popular “stars”—from Aretha Franklin to Mr. Rogers, from poets in Cancer to punk singers in Scorpio—to reveal what the sky has to teach us about being human. In this wise, lyrically written guide, she examines the twelve astrological signs, illuminating the ways each one is more complicated, beautiful, and surprising than you might have been told. Claire suggests that actually it’s okay, and even important, to be a seeker, to hunger for self-knowledge, and if astrology is the vehicle for that inquiry, so be it. Madame Clairevoyant’s Guide to the Stars offers a clear introduction to the basics and an innovative new framework for creatively using astrology to illuminate our lives on earth. It’s a road map to our internal world, yes, but Claire also reminds us that it’s still our job to navigate it. Combining both heavenly insights and the earthly wisdom of writers like Cheryl Strayed and Heather Havrilesky and the poetry of Patricia Lockwood and Mary Oliver, Madame Clairevoyant’s Guide to the Stars offers a fresh, profound, and fun way to look at ourselves and others, and perhaps see each more clearly. And in that way, this book is not just beautiful, but transformative.
