Book Synopsis Of Great and Hidden Things by : Joan Walsh
Download or read book Of Great and Hidden Things written by Joan Walsh and published by XinXii. This book was released on 2020-02-26 with total page 404 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is the time of the five kings, the prophets, and the rebuilding of the temple which were prophesized in the Book from the beginning. The Lamsi’s have thought to change times and laws; they seek to fulfil the Naroc’s prophecy above those in the Beast Tale Scrolls, and come against the animals of the Wilds and all who believe in the Great Wolf. The world is in ruins. It has lost its sense of balance. The falling away is come and the giant scorpion locusts. Mountains disappear from the landscape, and the water is almost gone. The animals of the Wilds are outnumbered more than a thousand to one by the foreign armies of the earth as they flee to the place of the last battle. Even Warrior has switched allegiances again. Faith is tested.
Book Synopsis The Road Back Again by : Edward T Wilson
Download or read book The Road Back Again written by Edward T Wilson and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2012-06-14 with total page 91 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many of my poems centre on the theme of having a positive or moral outcome. We are all the same in that we all feel emotions regardless of who we are. I have always been of the opinion to use rhyme as a simple means to express, as concisely as I can, the reasons why we feel the way that we do and perhaps the reasons why we do the things that we do. For whatever takes place in life, we are all susceptible to the same emotionsregardless of our varying experiences. In turn, it is because of what we feel and experience that make us who we are, or rather, who we have the potential to becomefor better or worse. It is my intention that my poems serve as a reminder, or conversely, serve as an additional insight into the fact that we can all rise above our circumstances. Oft times we fall short and in doing so fail to see our worth or the worth in otherseither because we fail to remember or fail to do, i.e, to remember to do what is necessary to help ourselves and to be there for others! I have sought to make these poems as insightful as I could, enough to see that we all deserve to be redeemed in one way or another!

Book Synopsis Intercultural Business Negotiations by : Jean-Claude Usunier
Download or read book Intercultural Business Negotiations written by Jean-Claude Usunier and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2018-10-08 with total page 355 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Negotiations occupy a prominent place in the world of business, especially when it comes to international deals. In an increasingly global business environment, understanding and managing cultural differences is key to successful negotiations. This book highlights two basic components of negotiations: the Deal and the Relationship. Countries and cultures place different value and priority on these components both in the negotiation process and in the outcome. Intercultural Business Negotiations provides a guiding framework that is both refined and contextualized and provides managers with the key skills necessary to navigate difficult negotiations where partners may differ in terms of culture, communication style, time orientation, as well as personal and professional backgrounds. The book systematically examines both dispositional and situational aspects of negotiations in interaction with cultural factors. Intercultural Business Negotiations is an accessible resource for managers, leaders, and those interested in or studying business negotiations globally. It is accompanied by an author run companion website containing negotiation simulations, instructions for players, and teaching notes for instructors.

Book Synopsis Trans and Sexuality by : Christina Richards
Download or read book Trans and Sexuality written by Christina Richards and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2017-08-10 with total page 209 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Grounded in cutting-edge qualitative research, Trans and Sexuality explores the sexuality of people who do not identify with the gender that they were assigned at birth. Arguing that whilst splitting members of the trans community into distinct groups might seem like a reasonable theoretical procedure, the pervasive assumption that group membership impacts on the sexuality of trans people has unduly biased opinions in this highly contested, yet dramatically under-researched area. Moreover, whilst existing literature has taken a purely positivistic standpoint, or relies on methodology that could be seen as exploitative towards trans people, Richards is careful to place the real-life experiences of trans research participants at the heart of the work. Showing that sexuality extends beyond the bedroom, this forward-thinking book touches on topics such as identity, sexuality and the intersections between the two. Richards takes a cross-disciplinary approach and considers the sexuality of trans people within the contexts of psychiatric and psychological settings, including Gender Identity Clinics, as well as in the broader contexts of cultural and community settings. The implications of the research at hand are also explored with respect to counselling psychology and existentialist philosophy. Trans and Sexuality will appeal to academics, researchers and postgraduate students in the fields of gender and sexuality, counselling, sociology, psychotherapy, psychology and psychiatry. It will be of particular interest to those seeking an in-depth and up-to-date overview of ethics and methodologies with people from marginalised sexualities and genders.
