Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Welcome to Anthony T. Hincks: An author of life, volume 1. This first volume includes all of my quotes and sayings that I have published on the internet to date. There are over fifteen hundred to read and choose from. The quotes have been readily accepted throughout the world are used by individuals, companies, & businesses. They have appeared in newsletters, newspapers, magazines and other online publications. My quotes have also been used to sell different merchandise around the world, from Russia to the U.S.A. My quotes have appeared alongside some of the world’s most famous people, and for that I feel very humble indeed. My quotes can cover any topic. I am more Buddhist than anything else, and I do not hold any bias or bigoted thoughts about other religions or people. I believe, since we are all individuals, that we all can think for ourselves. I believe that wars are only used by the greedy to liberate the wealth from others. I think the world needs to look in a new direction because if we don’t, then I am fearful about what will happen to this world of ours. I love the environment,, and animals and I believe that instead of looking for a way off, this home of ours, that we should at least look at trying to save it for our children. Mankind is selfish and he always has been. You may disagree, but when I look at the world, I read between the lines, I don’t believe everything that I see or read on the TV, the internet or in the print media; to do so otherwise is to believe all the lies that we are fed to keep the wealth of only a select few increasing. I believe in equality and fairness for all. So, if you want to read my quotes & sayings, do so, and if you don’t, I won’t be offended. All the best for the future and I leave you with this: “Walk through life as if you had brought light into the world & love into everyone’s heart.”

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Verbs in Storyland are fun books to write. I can use people I know, and write them into different stories. English is sometimes a hard subject to learn, and that is why I am using verbs as a basis for these series of books. The stories are usually fairly short, and they can vary in the way the story is written, and in what manner. It basically comes down to the verbs used, and the person who I have modeled the story on. I do my own illustrations so they are not perfect, but nether am I, and dare I say it, neither are you. Iam no artist when it comes to drawings, but then that is life. So enjoy volume 2 of Verbs in Storyland.

This book was released on 2020-12-20 with total page 339 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book critically examines the politico-military strategy of India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh during the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971. What began as a power struggle and cultural conflict between West and East Pakistan, later compelled India to intervene—an intervention that decisively shaped and influenced the geo-politics of the region and the global order. This volume is a systematic study of the situation of events, operational art and tactics, cold war politics, international reactions, and their impact on the formulation of the national grand strategy of all three nations. The book discusses various key themes such as the creation of Pakistan and events leading to its secession, the military geography of East Pakistan, state of armed forces of India and Pakistan and India’s humanitarian intervention, the role of Mukti Bahini, and the ambiguous stance of the United Nations in the war. The book offers an appraisal of the performances of the opposing forces and reflects on the inevitability of war and its outcome. It also gives an overview of the state formation of the three nations, encompassing the defining moments of the modern history of these South Asian countries and highlighting the socio-economic progress they have made half a century after the liberation war. A compelling treatise in the history of politico-military strategy, this book will be of interest to scholars and researchers of politics and international relations, partition studies, modern history, military history, South Asian studies, international security, defence and strategic studies, language politics, Islamic history, and refugee and diaspora studies. It will also appeal to general readers interested in the histories of Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India.

Book excerpt: You've survived cancer treatment - now what? The Cancer Misfit is here to support you when doctors, friends and family have gone 'back to normal' and assumed you can do the same. It's a life raft to help you navigate life after cancer treatment; to help you live better, think better and feel better and show you how to embrace your new future. After the treatment stops it can be difficult to know how to move on, and many survivors feel stuck in limbo between who they used to be before the diagnosis and who they are today. This is how Saskia felt when she was told the treatment was over: she felt like a Cancer Misfit, recovered physically, but mentally and emotionally still healing. Now, Saskia shares the tools that enabled her to become the happiest version of herself she has ever known. In these pages, you'll find the truth - that your best life and most beautiful self was not the person you were before your cancer diagnosis, but the person you are today; that you've become even more powerful because of the hell you went through, and that the greatest chapter of your life is here and now. The Cancer Misfit will introduce you to the person you've become as a consequence of the trauma you endured and help you to embrace your new life after treatment; a life full of confidence, happiness and peace.

Book excerpt: Welcome to Unfinished! It’s a group of stories that I have written over the years to help teach reader’s comprehension. Because it’s reader’s comprehension, I didn’t need to incorporate the usual start, endings, and/or middle to what would have been a long exercise. The stories cover many genre as I don’t believe in sticking to just one type of storyline. I like to try and think ahead of the reader, so I usually have lots of twists, and turns in any story that I write. Not all the stories will make sense to you, but to me they do. Just as I don’t expect everyone to like my style of writing. It would be good if you did, but I am not that ignorant or that silly. If the stories are well received, I may end up writing longer stories and turning them into a novel of sorts. This first volume contains forty stories which I had sitting on my computer, so all I had to do was do a minor bit of editing to bring them back to life. I hope that you have a read, and enjoy them. Remember, if you don’t, well I won’t lose any sleep over it. All the best, and enjoy what life can give you, and what you can offer it in return. Anthony T. Hincks

Book excerpt: The New Arts Entrepreneur is the first uniquely designed pedagogy for arts entrepreneurship educators and students. Melding an arts-first approach with understandable entrepreneurial concepts and newly formulated tools, the text helps arts students to envision themselves as an entrepreneurial CEO, not simply another random entrepreneur flailing through a maze of well-worn entrepreneurial suggestions that don't fit. At the core of the text are the entrepreneurial ecologies of the arts. The ecologies provide a framework to envision an entrepreneurial horizon for almost any arts-based business, included those ventures seeking to impact the production of art. In addition to this revolutionary framework, the text also introduces tools designed to compliment the ecologies. Designed with arts students in mind, it accomplishes two critical tasks not found in other textbooks: venture sustainability and decision-making. This newly developed approach focuses on the decision-making required to sustain new arts ventures and will be of interest to arts students from all disciplines.

Book excerpt: Welcome to ‘Verbs in Storyland’. This series of books will introduce children to irregular, and regular verbs through the use of stories, and the odd drawing or two. I hope that you like them because I believe that they are unique in their style, and concept. Here is just one exert. “Jim…here at ‘THEIVES’ we pride ourselves on stealing good things,” Mr. Jones said. “Yes, I know,” Jim said, “that’s why I want to work here.” “Gloria, tell Jim what you stole last week,” Mr. Jones said with a bright smile. “I stole this!” Gloria said as she held up a pencil case. This exert is from Steal-Stole-Stolen, and there are nine others in this book. Overall there are over 600 irregular verbs, and many more regular verbs. So, as you can see, I will have my work cut out for me writing all of the stories. So happy reading, and I’ll catch you in the next volume. Anthony T. Hincks

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The most intriguing puzzle in the world is the journey of human life. The author lets readers solve many puzzles for themselves by introducing different characters in the process of navigating through entertaining and captivating plots. These stories, gracefully illustrated by the author, make it clear that virtues, vices, sadness, and silliness are universal features regardless of language, geography, and the century during which one lives. These lively and stirring multigenerational tales of two families bring us from czarist times in Russia, take in the whole breadth of Russia from Moscow to Shikotan Island and, after an abbreviated sojourn in Europe, finally settle us in the present-day hills and valleys of New Hampshire. The use of "us" is intentional, for the author's style--her inspiring faith, understated humor, and unerring kindness shine through on every page--welcomes readers into this singular family home.--G. John Champoux, translator of works of several leading French philosophers and author of The Way to Our Heavenly Father (Kettering, OH: Semantron, 2013), a book of commentaries and meditations on the Lord's Prayer
