In the early part of my professional career, I had charge, for several years, of the hospital department of a large Charitable Institution, in which venereal patients, and those affected with blennorrhagic diseases daily presented themselves; and I have now devoted more than thirty years to the therapeutics of syphilis and kindred disorders, as they may properly enough be termed.
