Book excerpt: In this paper, we advance the study of plithogenic hypersoft set (PHSS).We present four classifications of PHSS that are based on the number of attributes chosen for application and the nature of alternatives or that of attribute value degree of appurtenance. These four PHSS classifications cover most of the fuzzy and neutrosophic cases that can have neutrosophic applications in symmetry. We also make explanations with an illustrative example for demonstrating these four classifications. We then propose a novel multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) method that is based on PHSS, as an extension of the technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution (TOPSIS).

It is proven that a bipolar hypersoft topological space gives a parametrized family of hypersoft topological spaces, but the converse does not hold in general, and this is shown with the help of an example. Furthermore, we give a condition on a given parametrized family of hypersoft topologies, which assure that there is a bipolar hypersoft topology whose induced family of hypersoft topologies is the given family. The notions of bipolar hypersoft neighborhood, bipolar hypersoft subspace, and bipolar hypersoft limit points are introduced. Finally, we define bipolar hypersoft interior, bipolar hypersoft closure, bipolar hypersoft exterior, and bipolar hypersoft boundary, and the relations between them, differing from the relations on hypersoft topology, are investigated.

The responsibility of promoting environmental sustainability is not confined to government alone as all the producer companies have equal share in mitigating the plastic waste. One of the ideal strategies of environmental conservation practiced by many of the nations at recent times is extended producer’s responsibility (EPR). This research work purposes in building a multi-criteria decision-making model integrating the methods of MACBETH (Measuring attractiveness through a categorical-based evaluation technique) and MAIRCA (Multi Attributive Ideal-Real Comparative Analysis) in plithogenic environment to make optimal decisions on the plastic recycling methods subjected to four core criteria in EPR context. The efficiency of the newly developed integrated model is determined by comparing the model with other models integrating MAIRCA with the methods of CRITIC (CRiteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation) & FUCOM (Full Consistency Method). The sensitivity analysis helps in listing the merits and limitations of the proposed integrated model and also the consistency of the criterion weights and the ranking of the alternatives are checked.
