This volume confirms the truth that the inherent Jewishness of the Christian faith is simply an undeniable historical and theological fact. By evaluating Christian doctrine and polity through the Jewish mindset of Jesus and the apostles, this book uncovers a veritable treasure of Hebraic truth. For every authentic Christian fruit, there is a Jewish toot! This truth id demonstrated across a wide spectrum of theological truth, including: Scripture, Messiah, Salvation, Faith, Baptism, Gospel, Grace, and Descipleship. Christianity owes a profound debt of gratitude to the Jewish people and to biblical and Second Temple Judaism for the foundations of the truths and practices that it hold dear. As you read this challenging, informative, and inspirational book, you will be amazed at just how Jewish Christianity, the "other Jewish religion," actually is.

Moffic gives fresh insight on how Jesus’ contemporaries understood him, explores how Jesus’ Jewishness shaped him, offers a new perspective on the Lord’s Prayer, and provides renewed appreciation for Jesus’ miracles. In encountering his Jewish heritage, you will see Jesus differently, gain a better understanding of his message, and enrich your own faith.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book discusses the fundamental principles of Christianity that all Christians must know but the fact is that almost all Christians (as well as Bible scholars) around the world do not know or do not understand what the Bible says with true and then causing doctrinal failures and deviating from actual teachings. Everything written in the NT must be based on the OT without conflict, not upside down. Therefore, the OT and the NT must be in harmony without conflict or confusion. The NT teaches the same with the OT to love also to love your enemies, abundant forgiveness, not revenge or vengeance, the OT also teaches unconditional love (agape) same with the NT, and all the teachings in the NT are actually the OT teachings. Because in fact, the OT and the NT tell the same principle without conflict. Truly, modern Christian doctrine commonly today is not fully the same as the teaching of the twelve apostles of Christ Jesus in the 1 century AD. This book discusses (to obtain) in an easy-to-understand way, what the apostles of Christ actually teach in the first century AD, as well as every reader (newbie or scholar) can understand what the Bible says with true. By reading this book the readers can understand that the Bible is the word of God which are amazing than any written work. The discussion of this book is able to guide the reader's mind to God's real purpose. All of us today know that there are many different teaching or doctrine of churches but, ALL DISCUSSIONS in this book are based on ancient Jewish and Christian documents, especially until the 2nd century AD, that the OT teaching is the same as the NT without any clashing and deserves consideration by Christian scholars! Below is a glance at this book: 1. There is a lot of evidence from ancient Jewish documents explaining who is the Jewish Messiah in the OT. 2. This book also explains clearly that Rom 5:15 is actually the law of soul for soul in Exod 21:24. Without the law of soul for soul, there is no redemption of sins by Christ. 3. Amazing for about the law "should be cut off" as in Exod 12:19, which seems harsh and as if God is easy to punish but in fact is very generous, long-suffering, merciful. Contrary to what Christians mean today. 4. Ancient Jewish teach that the Temple in Jerusalem are human bodies and were written by the apostle Paul in the NT, one example is 1 Cor 6:19-20. 5. Explaining the concept of the trinity in the understanding of the 1st and 2nd century AD churches. The trinity verses in the NT that do not appear in the OT, such as John 1:1, Col 1:15, etc. are actually based on the OT and were teach by ancient Jewish a long time before the 1st century AD. 6. Wars in the OT as evidence of God's love to restore the destruction because of sin, and it is based on Exod 21:24. The war still continues until the end of the world and all humans from all generations are involved, no one excluded. 7. Clearly that the law of soul for soul, eye for eye, tooth for tooth as written in the book of Moses is not scary, harsh, or without love. On the contrary, it proves wonderful love. This law is the NT teaching also included in Luke 6:27 to love your enemies. 8. Based on the church document in the 1st or 2nd century AD, this book explains NT passages that are difficult to understand, such as Rom 3:20 and Rom 7:6 that it is as if Christians no longer need to keep the law. Rom 2:13 are saved by keeping the law while Rom 3:20 are not saved by keeping the law? Also explains Eph 2:15 (it seems contrary to Matthew 5:17-18) based on the letter of Barnabas in the 2nd century AD describes Eph 2 is the teaching in the OT to keep the law of Moses, but (maybe) different from what the Christian church teaches today. 9. Based on the church documents in the 1st or 2nd century AD, this book also explains Col 2:16 and Rom 14 about food and drink and certain days, such as the Sabbath, and all of them are the OT teachings. Many more...

Why has there been so much hatred of Jews over the centuries? What you should bring (or more importantly, what not to bring) to the Passover Seder to which you've been invited? How to relate to Jews who are close friends or even new family members of yours? If you do, then this is the book for you. Written in a friendly, informal style, A Christian's Guide to Judaism is an introduction to Jewish religion, history, culture, and holidays written especially for the curious non-Jew. Its goal is to not only answer the questions that you may have about Judaism but also to make you feel more at home when you are invited to Jewish celebrations such as weddings and bar or bat mitzvahs. Have a quick question about what's kosher or why traditional Jewish men keep their head covered? See the subject in the chapter called "Jewish Practice in Lots of Nutshells." The fascination of Christians with Judaism has taken many forms over the years, from virulent anti-Semitism to intense interest regarding the religion of Jesus. This much-needed book provides Christians with a broad overview of the Jewish people and their religion, presents thorough explanations of Jewish laws and traditions, and explains in detail the many similarities--and key differences--between the Christian and Jewish faiths. +

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Nationally syndicated radio host and columnist Michael Brown provides a handbook for a biblically-based moral and cultural renaissance, revealing that the key to recapturing America’s greatness consists in returning to our spiritual and moral roots. America is at a tipping point, and never has this been more apparent than right now. We are in danger of losing our spiritual and moral heritage, making many believe that we have fallen beyond the point of recovery. This book is here to say, that, yes, we have fallen. In fact, fallen much further than we realize, but that our country’s best days are ahead—with the help of a radical, moral, and cultural revolution, beginning with the church. This book is a manual for the revolution. On all fronts, Americans are talking about the need for revolution, arguing from the left and the right that “the status quo must go!” This book comes at just the right time, as people are wondering what in the world has happened to our country—from the homes to the college campuses, from the inner cities to the White House, from our national debt to the material found on our computers and TV screens. In clear, compelling prose, Brown covers topics ranging from the sexualization of pop culture to the dumbing down of our schools to the undermining of family structures to a pervasive culture of entitlement, while pointing consistently to the Bible’s solution to these issues. A radical call for reformation written with sobriety and hope, Saving a Sick America provides the inspiration and guidance necessary for a moral and cultural revolution.

Book excerpt: Do you ever feel like you’re wandering in a wilderness alone? Are you searching for the same freedom the children of Israel sought, only to find oppression at every turn? Are you looking for a life filled with promise, only to be repeatedly disappointed? You are not alone. We are all on a journey, from slavery to sin to the ultimate Promised Land in Heaven, where we will be free. Everything in between is a wilderness experience. Moses expounded on freedom in the wilderness. He explained exactly where to find it and how to get there. He clearly spoke to the Jew and the foreigner. The question is: Does He speak to the Christian as well? In her book Finding Freedom, Dr. Stundahl will wander through the wilderness of Deuteronomy and explore the Hebraic roots of Christianity. Finding Freedom reveals the concepts of the Torah, assembled in the same format in which they were studied by the Jewish communities since the Babylonian exile. These concepts include humility, idolatry, evil speech, teaching, learning, remembering and listening. The analysis of each portion of the Torah considers its applicability to the life of a Christian. As the history of Christianity and the Jewish elements of the Gospel are discovered, the shadows of Jesus Christ are revealed. Wherever you are in the wilderness of your life, you too can find the freedom intended just for you! Experience the reading, the writing, and the dance of the Torah.

Book excerpt: Do you consider yourself a Gentile? What do you know about Jews? Many Jews do not believe that a Jew can have faith in Jesus. Many Christians do not believe that a person can have faith in Jesus and still be a Jew. What if those are both wrong notions? This book looks at the actual beliefs of Jews as compared to those of Christians. You may be surprised. We will take the entirety of scripture as well as a very old document in order to examine our hearts and grow in knowledge. If you read this book, you will walk away with a better understanding of Judaism. You will also gain more affection for your fellow man as well as a renewed compassion for Abraham's seed. The Church has largely turned her eyes away from hundreds of years of opportunities for peace and dialog. Doing unto others as you would like for them to do unto you is exactly why I encourage every person (especially Christians) to ask the question, Am I Jewish?
