Those familiar with the perishable character of trees and plants, the delay, exposure and expense incident to lots brought from the east especially in our Springs, usually so much earlier than theirs, will need no recommend of ours to induce them to buy West. If western planters ever want or expect good, cheap trees, the will certainly patronize home or western nurseries. Our establishment now covers 600 acres, located on high, dry, rolling prairie, perfectly exposed on all sides, and no manure used for most of our trees, giving them a thoroughly ripe acclimated growth.
