Book excerpt: About the Book When Satan Smiles sheds a fictional light on the historic events that took place in Ireland during the early 1900's, and how those events impacted members of five families. Follow these families as their lives are constantly impacted by those historical events. Family members are faced with many choices in their lives; for some, the choices are beneficial, but for others, they are all too ruinous. Love, truth, honesty, and friendship will always prevail. About the Author John Samsson immigrated to the United States in 1961 from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He lived through the terrible bombing of his native city during WWII, having been born just months before the outbreak of that horrific war. After an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 1965, he attended New York University (G I Bill) attaining a New York City Teaching License in 1969. He spent the bulk of his teaching career in the South Bronx where he experienced - among other things - a deja vu sensation witnessing the destruction there to the destruction in Belfast during the war. Samsson retired in 1994 and splits his time living in New York and Florida.

Book excerpt: "Faith will always prevail," is Doctor Bible's motto and the winning card for Professor Banetti, an unbeliever, to solve the diabolical mystery in Stonehenge. For centuries, Satan's archenemy has been held captive by Satan in the mystical circles of Stonehenge. Known by many names and disguised in many forms, the time of freedom for Satan's enemy has come and if he wins in the ultimate cosmic battle he will be Lord not only of Hell but of all Earth. There are only two people who can unfold his plan, Otello Banetti, a professor and scientist obsessed by the occult, and his friend Doctor Bible, an expert in the scriptures. Devastating earthquakes and tsunamis are the only signs of the clashes between the two evil forces until Satan's enemy arrives in front of mankind disguised as the new Messiah ready to lead us straight to Hell. Born in Prato, Italy, Massimo Franceschini is the author of eleven screenplays and numerous books. Stonehenge is the fourth in the series of adventures of Otello Banetti. The complete saga is nine books: Bible Code, Genetic code, Eden, Golden Papyrus, Premonitions, Banetti Unveiled, and The Church. Each story stands by itself but there are clues connecting all of them and in the final episode everything is explained and clarified. You'll know the back story of the hero, his purpose in life, and his final destiny. Massimo now lives in Florence, Arizona with his wife Teresa. He has six children and nine grandchildren. He loves Bible studies, mysteries, soccer, and movies. He moved to the USA in 1995 and now is an American citizen

Robert Don Hughes writes, I know the voice within me well--I've heard it all my life. . . . It is sometimes patient-sounding, sometimes playful, sometimes naughty, sometimes devious, sometimes abusive--sometimes frightening. It seeks always to give me permission to do evil. It prompts me to harm myself in the name of fun. It taunts me, calling me names that hurt me names that have had power over me since my childhood, names that prompt me to lash out, to act in ways that I would really rather not. And it criticizes me--constantly--a never-ending stream of cynical, personally targeted satire that leaves me angry, defensive, and depressed. Oh, I know the voice well. I hear it daily. Do you? Satan did many things to block the writing of this book. He may be telling you that you don't need to read it. If you've heard Satan's whispers, you need this book learn of his lies and find the power to break the lies that bind you!

Book excerpt: On July 11, 2054, in the capital city of the new world government, someone murdered the governors wife. Although absolutely certain that the young man currently sweating bullets on Death Row for the crime is innocent, the governor has no solid evidence. Powerless to stop the execution without incriminating his son, the governor turns to the only person he can trust. Nick Trevor, on his first case as a private investigator, has a scant seventy-two hours to save an innocent man. With the clock ticking, Nick forms an impromptu alliance with his old friend, Detective Gabriel MacDougal, who is investigating the sudden disappearance of one of the wealthiest men on the planet. Overcoming countless setbacks during their joint investigations, Nick and Gabe realize that both cases are intimately linked. As they plow their way through the seedy criminal underground and into the lifestyles of the incredibly rich and powerful, they unveil myriad shrouds of truth. While discovering that solving his case is merely the prelude to a complex tale of deception and betrayal, Nick Trevors ultimate reward is rediscovering several pieces of himself that he honestly believed had vanished forever.

Book excerpt: Does "Christianity" confuse and frustrate you? Do you long for insight and clarity concerning an authentic walk with God? There is hope! Quit settling for mediocrity (or hypocrisy) and begin living in the crescendo, the increase, the upsurge of true Christianity! In the pages of this book, you will find that out there somewhere - between Christ wanting us to have real life (John 10:10) and His sincere desire that we obey Him (Luke 6:46) - are the principles of PRY, waiting to be discovered, grasped, and activated. They promise to transform your heart. The Bible shows us the way - we just need to take God at His Word! Psalm 34:8 (NKJV) sings out, "Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!" Gaining his formal and spiritual education first from Liberty University and later from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, Ed Meshler is a native North Carolinian, Robin'shusband, Sam and Ginger's dad, a pastor, a Bible teacher, a writer, a reader, and a bit of a ragamuffin. Ed first formulated and began teaching these PRY principles in 1991. Family, friends, books, music, art, sports, church, youth camps, and the love of Trinity God fill the rest of his time. Well, all that and an ever-handy bottle of cold and refreshing sparkling water. www.edmeshler.com

Book excerpt: The author radically addresses conflicting denominational beliefs associated with established Christian doctrinal teachings including the immortality of the soul, hell-fire/eternal torment, miracles, God's Kingdom, prayer, the Trinity and the salvation and eventual resurrection of the entire human race. Then, through extensively detailed scriptural research he provides a thought provoking and inspirational conclusion attributing these differences to the true source of universal deception, Satan, the father of lies and beguilement. Other topics that reveal Satan's influence on Christian thought and moral character covers abortion, homosexuality, capital punishment, occultism and the heinous terrorist attacks perpetrated on a country known for its Christian values. These are covered at length, in detail and are explained in conjunction with the plan of God and it's revelation through an intense study of His Word. Being a devoted non-denominational Bible student with 30 years of experience and personal connections has its reward as these dilemmas are explained through the eyes of this movement's most knowledgeable leaders. The author enlightens the reader to "lost" unparalleled dimensions in thinking, slicing through traditional parameters and exposing the "truth" which has been hidden from the majority of the followers of Christ for so many centuries. "It's time the world is reintroduced to the God of eternal love and not the God of wrath and punishment", says the author. "Come, let us reason together!"
