I have interspaced factual news worthy events with accounts of the death and life of the servicemen and women who served there and have included the names, ages, and hometowns of those killed during a particular event or battle. I have made every attempt to not editorialize our involvement; I will leave that up to you. Rather, I hope this is a compilation of facts and information you can use to further your studies and to ask more involved questions.
