Sie kann innerhalb von wenigen Tagen für ein paar Pfund gegründet werden, außer einer Briefkastenadresse in England ist nichts weiter erforderlich, der gesamte Geschäftsverkehr kann in Deutschland abgewickelt werden, ja, die "Limited" kann sogar ihren Sitz gänzlich hierher verlegen. Man vergisst in der Euphorie gerne, dass die "Limited" einer uns fremden Rechtsordnung verhaftet ist - und bleibt. So muss sie in jedem Fall u.a. nach englischem Recht und in englischer Sprache bilanzieren - unabhängig von ihrem Geschäftszweck und ihrem Sitz. Wer dafür einen englischen Steuerberater einsetzt, hat den Vorteil der niedrigen Gründungskosten schon sehr schnell verspielt. Wer nicht bilanziert und die Bilanzen beim englischen Register einreicht, verwirkt automatisch hohe Strafen. Das englische Recht ist hier wesentlich stringenter als das deutsche. Das Buch hilft, in den meisten Fällen der einfachen "Limited im Auslandseinsatz" die Schwelle zum englischen Bilanzrecht zu überwinden und leitet dazu an, in standardisierten Fällen die Bilanzen eigenständig zu erstellen. Dazu verwendet der Autor neben einer verständlichen Sprache zahlreiche Muster und Beispiele, die in Kombination mit den leicht verständlichen Erläuterungen in vielen Fällen bares Geld sparen können. Book excerpt: This volume discusses the authenticity of the seven letters, handed down under the name of Ignatius of Antioch, and explores the wider theological context at the time of their composition. The author first examines the chronological foundations of current scholarly consensus, which on the whole favours an early second-century date for the composition of these letters, during the reign of the emperor Trajan (98-117). On the basis of his findings the author next addresses the question raised by the title of the volume: do some of the polemic passages in these letters specifically attack Valentinian gnosis? After a detailed discussion of chapters 16-20 of the Letter to the Ephesians it is shown that the Ignatian Star Hymn (Eph. 19) should be seen as a parody of Valentinian myth. The volume concludes with a study of the Regula fidei (Eph. 18,2).

Das war 1945 der Fall, denn der Nationalsozialismus hatte nicht nur Tod und materielle Zerstorung zu verantworten, sondern auch europaweit die Eigentums- und Rechtsverhaltnisse schwer in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. Der lange Weg zur Normalitat war daher "unusual business" im wahren Sinn des Wortes. 1945 befand sich die osterreichische Versicherungswirtschaft in einer "systemic crisis", bei der die ganze Branche gefahrdet war. Das vorliegende Buch zeigt allgemein den Wiederaufbau dieses Wirtschaftsbereiches bis Ende der 1950er Jahre und geht dann speziell auf Bilanzanalysen und die Steuerproblematik dieser Epoche ein.
