Book Synopsis Normal Christianity by : Jonathan Welton
Download or read book Normal Christianity written by Jonathan Welton and published by Destiny Image Publishers. This book was released on 2011-09-20 with total page 183 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jesus and the Book of Acts are the standard of Normal Christianity. Remember the fad a few years ago when people wore bracelets reminding them, “What Would Jesus Do?” Christians state that Jesus is the example of how to live, yet this has been limited in many cases to how we view our moral character. When Christians tell me that they want to live like Jesus, I like to ask if they have multiplied food, healed the sick, walked on water, raised the dead, paid their taxes with fish money, calmed storms, and so forth. I typically receive bewildered looks, but that’s what it is like to live like Jesus!Perhaps we are ignoring a large portion of what living like Jesus really includes. While I agree that we are to live like Jesus, “Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did” (1 John 2:6 NLT). I am also aware that the application of Jesus’ model has been minimized to something that can be accomplished by living a moral life. Many Christians believe that they can live like Jesus without ever operating in the supernatural. After reading in the Bible about all of the miracles He performed, does that sound right to you? Book Synopsis MYSTERY OF ALTARS by : ISAIAH MACWEALTH
Download or read book MYSTERY OF ALTARS written by ISAIAH MACWEALTH and published by GP Publisher. This book was released on with total page 445 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As we will see in this book, an altar is a technology for communicating and teleporting between two realms. It is a mystery that is replete all over the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. Before the Law, the revelation of altars existed, and in the Law, altars existed. We also see altars in the New Testament, and even in the Book of Revelation. The revelation of altars is thus key to spiritual power, and this is why the people of the occult world and the kingdom of Satan do not joke with it. Unfortunately, the church that should be the custodian of the revelation of altars has since lost its principles. Churches now have stages instead of altars. This is sad. In the past, kings and other great leaders revered the church. It was the Queen of Scotland that said, 'I fear the prayers of John Knox more than all the assembled armies of Europe’. Where is the Lord God of Elijah who fought the prophets of Baal after repairing the altar of God? Where is the Lord God of Moses who brought Israel out of Egypt and parted the Red Sea. Where is the God of Joshua who caused time to stand still? As a church and as individuals, if we would see the power of God as of old, we must learn again the principle of altars. We must set our hearts to understand sacrifice, the blood of Jesus, and the power of prayer. We must understand how to set up an altar and learn how to shut and open portals in the realm of the spirit through the technology of altars. We must also learn how to legalize and criminalize altars, and how to furnish our altars with blood. We must not be ignorant of the impact of family altars and the altars through which we are attacked as the Body of Christ. We must align our heart altar with heaven's altar to bring heaven's power to the earth as only the power of God can do the work of God. In this book, I will share with you many deep secrets, many of which will be new to you. I advise you to take time to meditate and research for yourself. The Lord has trusted me with so much revelation for our day, and not only have I taught these, I have seen the results and testimonies abound. This is why in the appendix of this book, I have shared testimonies from some of the people who have practiced the revelation published in this book because the results cannot lie. I pray for you that as you read, you will receive insights by the power of the Holy Ghost. God bless you!

Download or read book He Loves Me! written by Wayne Jacobsen and published by Hachette+ORM. This book was released on 2008-09-02 with total page 162 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: So many Christians believe God's love is fickle: when they sin, He turns away in disgust and anger. They vacillate between "He loves me" and "He loves me not" because of their behavior. That reasoning, writes Wayne Jacobsen, is as flawed as pulling petals from a daisy. Rather God's love is sturdy, enduring, and undisturbed by people's failings because God loves humankind not for what they do -- but who they are. They are God's beloved creation. Startlingly honest and empathetically written, He Loves Me! reveals the facts of God's relentless grace. Readers will learn how to live consciously, confidently in this love all the time. Questions for personal reflection and group discussion help make these truths practical and life-changing. Insecure Christians ready for a revolutionary relationship with God will find out just how accessible that is.

Book excerpt: Discover a faith that goes beyond doubt and reveals how God continues to fulfill his promises today just as he did in biblical times, unlocking true purpose and fulfillment in our busy, modern lives. Where is the life God promised us? In the midst of our fast-paced schedules and endless distractions, we often push God to the background, struggling to believe that his promises are still relevant. He seems distant, and the abundant life Jesus spoke about doesn't seem possible. When we hear that God wants to give, say, and show us more, we assume it's just a rumor. But what if God really is calling us to something more--a life of deeper purpose, fulfillment, and peace today and right now? In Rumors of God, Jon Tyson and Darren Whitehead challenge us to reimagine what it means to live a life shaped by faith. They invite us to close the gap between the promises we've heard and the reality we experience, helping us see how God's presence and power are at work even in our modern, everyday lives. This book is more than a reminder--it's a call to rediscover a God who is active, present, and moving among us. For those feeling weary, jaded, or uncertain about how faith fits into today's world, Rumors of God offers a fresh perspective on God's timeless promises.

Book Synopsis Altars by : Mrs Chinyere Gloria Madugba
Download or read book Altars written by Mrs Chinyere Gloria Madugba and published by . This book was released on 2019-06-14 with total page 232 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Altars are dedicated places for offering sacrifices to deities. Until the sacrificial Crucifixion of Christ - our ultimate Sacrificial Lamb on the Cross, which abolished the use of animals to sacrifice to God for various purposes, it was the focal point of Worship for those desiring to obey God. Raising and ministering on altars was a prophetic responsibility, priests were called to fulfill. Our spiritual Patriarch Abraham raised several altars on which he sacrificed to God. Isaac and Jacob did the same. Raising and Ministering on Altars was the center of worship for the Patriarchs, Judges and Kings of Israel until Jesus came. Today, Pastoral Ministry in every local Church is carried out on the Altar. Preachers preach from Altars, Communion is served from Altars, Marriage Covenants are sealed at Altars, yet few have a full understanding of the power and significance of the Altar. Evil ministers of Satan make use of altars daily without which they can barely operate. These evil activities can be destroyed, if we know what they are, where they are and what we can do to render their activities powerless. The followers of Jesus are empowered by Him to "Occupy until I return." Jesus said: "I give you ALL Authority over ALL the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm you." We have been authorized to set the captives free! We welcome you to learn, for "My people perish for a lack of knowledge." it's time you no longer are "ignorant of the enemy's devices."

Are you willing to risk failure? Are you ready to get in the game? You may stumble, but you will find yourself falling forward, propelled toward the God-inspired adventure He intends you to live. Using the biblical characters of Saul and Jonathan during Israel’s war with the Philistines (1 Samuel 13 and 14), Chasing Daylight (formerly titled Seizing Your Divine Moment) demonstrates the difference between living a life of purpose and adventure and living one of apathy and missed opportunity. While Saul rested beneath a pomegranate tree, Jonathan seized the divine moment and redirected the future of Israel. McManus uses Jonathan’s example to artfully illustrates the eight characteristics of an adventurer’s heart, what he calls “the Jonathan factor”: Taking initiative Accepting uncertainty Stewarding influence Embracing risk Continuing to advance Creating impact Moving in obedience Awakening potential We have but one life. We are given one opportunity to pursue our dreams and fulfill our divine purpose. Every moment counts, and we must engage them with fierceness and zeal. In Chasing Daylight, Erwin Raphael McManus offers the tools to put an end to passive observation and start seizing the raw, untapped potential of your life with God.
