Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: INTRODUCTION Hi Poetry fans from all around the world. My name is Brett Johnson. First and foremost, I would like to say thank you for purchasing a copy of this eloquent, insightful, intellectual, introspective, thought provoking, sincere body of poetry work. This is my second published poetry book. I am even more proud of the creative thought process that penetrated from page one to the last. Basically, the title of the book is called “2008 Poetic Thoughts for the Summer, Fall, and first month of December. During that whole year of 2008, I kept a notepad daily. After every sunset, I would sit down, think a few minutes, and then jot down my inquisitive thoughts on how my genuine relationship with GOD keeps me animated through my ups and downs, smiles and frowns. This poetry book is a more detailed personal account of me as a human being, an imperfect man, a young adult struggling to find his own way to fit into this cold world of sin. Deep into my own zone of thought, I would constantly ask the lord Why do I Cry? Why did this sad event happen? If I was a husband or father, “Would I be this? Would I be that? The human spirit is so hopeless without the power of GOD in our lives. To all my diehard fans and soon to be fans, I really want you to personally digest, envision a few possible scenarios that could possibly relate to you in this book. How would you handle it? Would you give up? Would you continue to fight after you weep? Even if demons invade your dream, you can still show a proud, bright beam to your family, good, true, loyal friends, and best of all to GOD.

In this fascinating forum, they share the challenges of prayer, what it means to pray, how to develop your own personal prayer voice, and how to rediscover meaning and Gods presence in the traditional Jewish prayer book.
Download or read book Choices written by Odell Stigler and published by Fulton Books, Inc.. This book was released on 2024-04-05 with total page 45 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I have been clean and sober and cigarette-free for twenty-four years. I began using alcohol, marijuana, and smoking cigarettes at age fifteen. By the time I turned thirty, I was, in my own opinion, an alcoholic. In the last years of my addictions, I tried crack cocaine when I was around thirty-five. I was heading rapidly to the very bottom afterward. Of course, I smoked cigarettes for years. I tried many times and many ways to quit being addicted. My story includes the path my life unfolded. I prayed with the little faith I could muster. I tried the traditional methods of drug and alcohol treatment centers and the 12-step program. None worked for me. I also know that a lot of addicts experience similar outcomes. I landed myself in prison a couple of times. The first time should have been a wake-up call, but it was not. I failed to learn and grow from that experience. The second time, a couple of years later, I would finally be exposed to a force strong enough and at least as powerful enough to gain my attention. This force was my second time in prison due to my third operating while intoxicated charge (driving under the influence). I was sentenced to five years. The prison system released me after five and a half months, followed by four and a half months of mandatory work release supervision at the halfway house. My time in prison was so unpleasant. It caused me to suffer through the withdrawals of alcohol, crack, and cigarettes simultaneously. I also had to adapt to a life of incarceration. I had no say about most everything. I worked in the kitchen washing dishes, which oddly enough gave me something to look forward to. Here is my story. I have been completely sober from alcohol, crack, and cigarettes since December 5, 1999, the day I was sentenced and taken to jail to await transportation to prison. I hope you choose to read this essay for yourself or for a family member or friend.

Download or read book Way Truth written by Dale M. Presley and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2009-10 with total page 174 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Way Truth: Life," that expands upon the theology presented in the author's first-published book, "Way Truth: Life - Revelation of the Creator LORD Jesus Christ," is a book that is much needed. For, most who claim to be Christian do not comprehend the fullness of Who the Creator LORD Jesus Christ is. And, virtually none of these understands God's overall Plan of Redemption of the Ages that is necessary to correctly interpret Bible prophecy. These are so ignorant of what God is doing and about to do that they do not even know what questions to ask. Most proclaimed Christians have no concept of what the Bible reveals concerning the timing of Christ's return. They certainly cannot use simple terms to clearly explain how God's predestination and mankind's free will coexist. They do not know how God will ultimately judge all sinners in a fair manner regardless of when they live or what spiritual enlightenment they are exposed to. Sadly, most do not even know what God really requires for a person to be born again and eternally saved, much less what spiritual stages everyone who ever lives potentially goes through from the moment that one comes into existence until he physically dies. They do not know God's plan for His chosen nation of Israel during the church age, during the coming 7-year Tribulation and during the Millennial Kingdom. And, they have no idea what the Bible clearly reveals about the destiny of everyone who dies before the age of moral accountability. Clear answers to the above are provided within this fully scripture-referenced book on theology entitled "Way Truth: Life." Additionally, the author's most-literal approach to interpreting God's Word also makes it very easy to decipher Bible prophecy.
