Book excerpt: Sementes de feijao (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) infectadas por antracnose (Colletotrichum lindemuthianum Sacc. et Magn. Scrib), foram tratadas com quatro fungicidas, dois sistemicos e dois de protecao, em tres diferentes doses, e colocadas a germinar em caixas de areia em um ambiente controlado, a temperatura constante de 20 graus C e umidade relativa media de 80%. Utilizou-se o delineamento eperimental de blocos casualizados em um esquema fatorial 4 x 4 onde os tratamentos forma formados pela combinacao dos fungicidas e de suas doses: 0; 0,5; 1,0 e 2,0 vezes a dose recomendada pelo fabricante. Observou-se que o fungicida Cercobin M70 foi o que melhor cotrolou a molestia na dose comercial recomendada. O Benlate 50 tambem apresentou controle da molestiae, embora nao significativamente, afetou a velocidade de emergencia das plantulas de feijao. O Arazan 70 e co Captan 50 PM proporcionaram os menores pesos de materia seca controle de molestias, porem apresentaram maior velociadade de emergencia das plantulas. De uma maneira geral, todos os fungicidas testados apresentaram controle da antracnose.
