Book excerpt: Ce travail concerne l'étude du transfert de chaleur à haute température entre un lit fluidisé et des objets immergés. Des valeurs du coefficient de transfert de chaleur global ont été déterminées à partir de l'évolution, au cours du temps, de la température des sondes sphériques et cylindriques de différents matériaux immergées dans des lits fluidisés. Les particules (sable, carbure de silicium et corindon), fluidisées par de l'air, appartiennent au groupe B de la classification de Geldart. La température a varié de l'ambiante jusqu'à 1273 K et la vitesse de fluidisation d'une valeur correspondant à la vitesse mnimale de fluidisation jusqu'à 5 Umf. Pour vérifier l'influence du bullage sur le coefficient de transfert de chaleur, différents distributeurs ont été utilisés et des mesures de fluctuation de pression ont été réalisées à un niveau donné du lit. Les différences entre les résultats expérimentaux obtenus avec différentes sondes sont interprétées par la prise en compte d'une résistance de contact dans le comportement thermique des sondes. Des corrélations générales ont été proposées pour la prédiction de la vitesse minimale de fluidisation et du coefficient de transfert de chaleur maximale

Besides a common macroscopic (continuum) description the microscopic theory of flexoelectricity is also addressed.
