As a general rule, it may be affirmed of him, that he can be moulded into any form and character, and exalted to any degree of intellectual excellence, by suit able instruction and discipline. And, ordinarily, the scale of education is graduated by the wisdom and intelligence of those who, in any age or country, superintend and direct the seminaries of youth.
