Book excerpt: It's time to embrace the power of the divine arsenal and triumph in every aspect of your life. After reading this book you will discover the secrets of activating the full power of the armor of God, equipping yourself to overcome every spiritual battle. Through fresh perspectives, practical insights, and powerful strategies, this book will empower you to wield your divine arsenal effectively and emerge victorious in the face of opposition. "Put on the armor of God" has become a battle cry in the church today, but most Christians have no clue how to put it on in a way that unleashes its supernatural, Holy Spirit power. They might have the pieces of the armor memorized, but what good are words if they are made lifeless by a lack of understanding or powerless by a lack of action? In Weapons of Our Warfare, the first book in his Spiritual Warfare Series, firebrand pastor Greg Locke plumbs the depths of this divine arsenal in fresh new ways that will transform believers' lives and equip them to defeat the enemy on every front. For anyone ready to suit up and boot up for Jesus and contend for the faith in these last of the last days, this book is a must-read.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Dan Bautista thought that moving to the California Coast meant an easy life and endless summers. He believed the power of the Gospels conquered all because he'd never seen the fearsome transformative power of raw violence. He thought joining the police force would bring peace to his life and justice to his community. Nothing happened as planned. He couldn't have imagined what did happen. Weapons of Our Warfare reveals the inconvenience of knowing people. Really knowing them. It's about the beautiful complexity we find in every encounter we give a chance to mature. The riddle of violence and the need sometimes to do evil for the ultimate good, is revealed in this story inspired by real people the author has come to know and love. These are real people whose actions go far beyond the typical stereotypes, into the realm of heroism, and insensate evil, often within the same person. Pastors, street cops, investigators, drug dealers, informants, and murderers. Bad guys and good guys wrapped in one skin. People who've taken a stance, and find others on the same side of their line, unsure how they got there, even less sure how others they love got on the other side. And through it all, the worst brings out the best they have. The best any of us ever have. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Born in Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines, Ed Delfin moved to America as a teenager. He has been a law enforcement professional for almost twenty years. Ed has extensive experience in narcotics interdiction, gang investigations, and cold-case homicides. Currently, he is an Inspector with the Santa Cruz County District Attorney's Office. Ed has a degree in business, a master's degree in legal studies from Monterey College of Law, and a graduate of the FBI National Academy. A licensed minister with the Assemblies of God, Ed married his college sweetheart. They live in the heart of California's Central Coast with their two children.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Only weeks after the D-Day invasion of June 6, 1944, a surprising cargo—crates of books—joined the flood of troop reinforcements, weapons and ammunition, food, and medicine onto Normandy beaches. The books were destined for French bookshops, to be followed by millions more American books (in translation but also in English) ultimately distributed throughout Europe and the rest of the world. The British were doing similar work, which was uneasily coordinated with that of the Americans within the Psychological Warfare Division of General Eisenhower's Supreme Headquarters, Allied Expeditionary Force, under General Eisenhower's command. Books As Weapons tells the little-known story of the vital partnership between American book publishers and the U.S. government to put carefully selected recent books highlighting American history and values into the hands of civilians liberated from Axis forces. The government desired to use books to help "disintoxicate" the minds of these people from the Nazi and Japanese propaganda and censorship machines and to win their friendship. This objective dovetailed perfectly with U.S. publishers' ambitions to find new profits in international markets, which had been dominated by Britain, France, and Germany before their book trades were devastated by the war. Key figures on both the trade and government sides of the program considered books "the most enduring propaganda of all" and thus effective "weapons in the war of ideas," both during the war and afterward, when the Soviet Union flexed its military might and demonstrated its propaganda savvy. Seldom have books been charged with greater responsibility or imbued with more significance. John B. Hench leavens this fully international account of the programs with fascinating vignettes set in the war rooms of Washington and London, publishers' offices throughout the world, and the jeeps in which information officers drove over bomb-rutted roads to bring the books to people who were hungering for them. Books as Weapons provides context for continuing debates about the relationship between government and private enterprise and the image of the United States abroad. Grow in your journey of faith with practical, Biblical insights from pastor and teacher John MacArthur. This collection contains: Divine Design: For decades culture has blurred the lines between men and women, all in the name of equality. Yet instead of creating harmony, this approach has caused frustration and confusion, leaving families broken and hurting. Divine Design draws readers back to God's intention for men and women, and tackles big issues such as authority in marriage, mothers in the home, and the innate difference between males and females. Readers will discover how embracing their unique design can foster security, balance, and love in a marriage and family. Saved Without a Doubt: Am I really saved? Am I going to heaven? How can I know for sure? Every believer has wrestled with these questions at some point in their journey. Saved Without a Doubt examines Scripture to uncover the truth of salvation, while addressing tough questions that can hinder our faith. Readers will develop a Bible-based theology of salvation and be encouraged to securely rest in their personal relationship with Christ. The Power of Suffering: Why does God allow suffering? Even more perplexing, where is God when people hurt? The Power of Suffering holds the vital answers. MacArthur takes a look at the reality and role of suffering in the life of a believer. He offers readers a profound message of hope, encouragement, and peace.

This is a tougher era of warfare.More people are under bondage now, more than in any other period of human history. There are cases of deep bondage, uncommon attacks against the family and horrendous occurrences in the lives of individuals. The devil has wreaked a lot of havoc upon humanity. The bible has described in vivid terms that God is aware of the high spate of demonic hostilities. Hence the Holy Spirit has released the prophetic revelations in this book in order to place us in good stead for a unique role in this end times. This manual is the first of its kind. This is the apex of deliverance. We are the threshold of a revival of spiritual warfare. The sweeping and the far reaching effect shall be best described as awesome!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In these end times we need to understand how to face an enemy that has no mercy for us. He would prefer to see us dead. He has an army that is disciplined and regimented to follow out orders to attack all who are weak and unprotected. This enemy is none other than Satan himself and the thousands of demons, fallen angels, and evil spirits who follow the same plan as he does; to annihilate mankind. We cannot physically see this army, but we can see the results of the attacks upon individuals who end up in spiritual battles with them and don't know much about them. Many people who have confessed the name of Jesus seem to fall short in the area of knowing what He has said in His word. They will argue and strongly discuss many matters pertaining to the word but will more than likely not have adequate understanding of it. The principle of needing to 'eat' His word is not something grasped. We all know the saying "you are what you eat". It has been said that the bible is the most argued about book and the least read. Why is this so? This is the very point I will try to expose in this book.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A great deal of biblical scholarship is written for academics and fails to edify readers or strengthen their Christian ministry. Yet, Christians need to be nourished by the word of God so they can mature in faith and righteousness. Filling this gap, The Branch Exposition of the Bible is a resource for preachers, scholars and ordinary Christians alike, to help open God’s word and shed its light into life, ministry and teaching. Inspired by the words of the great reformer Martin Luther about shaking every branch of Scripture, and with experience in ministering across Africa, India and the West, Michael A. Eaton helps us understand the meaning of the Bible and taste its fruit. Together with the New Testament volume, this exposition of the Old Testament accessibly engages with the biblical languages, gives application for our lives and leads us through each book of the Old Testament so that we can meet the resurrected Jesus Christ in the pages of Scripture.
