The general subject for this line of messages is the intrinsic significance of the Lord's recovery for the building of the church as the house of God and the city of God. The word recovery means a restoration or a return to a normal condition after damage or loss has been incurred. The principle of recovery is to bring us back to the beginning (Matt. 19:8), to God's beginning, back to what is normal in God's eyes. We do not want to be in an abnormal situation of division, confusion, or denominationalism or in a situation filled with idols and impurities. We want to be recovered back to the enjoyment of Christ as our all-inclusive good land so that we can be filled with Him in His unsearchable riches and be built up to be the living temple, the house of the living God (1 Tim. 3:15). This is the Body of Christ for His expression. We also want to be built up as the kingdom of God to represent God for His dominion on this earth, as pictured by the city of Jerusalem. God's recovery begins with our exercised spirit. God wants to recover the spirit of man for His economy. We can exercise our spirit to contact God, worshipping God in our spirit with Christ as our reality. Thus, we are here to build up the church as the house of God and the kingdom of God. Last of all, we include a report concerning the Lord's move in the French-speaking world and an update concerning the distribution of the ministry in Poland.

The sixteen messages in this term focus on Romans 5 and 6, while future messages will focus on Romans 7 and 8. The eight messages of the April 2022 issue draw from Witness Lee's understanding of Romans 5 and 6 in his earlier ministry. The eight messages of this issue present a further understanding of Romans 5 and 6 based on the latter part of his ministry, in which Brother Lee emphasized the matters of being saved in life and reigning in life (5:10, 17). In life indicates that both being saved and reigning are related to the organic aspect of God's complete salvation, which is the fulfillment of God's salvation through the life of Christ for the believers to be transformed and to grow and mature in the life of God. Brother Lee thus began to speak about God's salvation in life in a brand new way, especially in view of the great diamond of God's eternal economy. In his earlier ministry Brother Lee spoke about our being saved in life from particular items, such as worldliness, Satan, sin, and death. In the latter part of his ministry, he saw that organic salvation is our deification, a process that includes regeneration, feeding, sanctification, renewing, transformation, building, conformation, and glorification and that results in our becoming God in life and nature but not in the Godhead. The goal of organic salvation is the building--the corporate expression of the Triune God in Christ through the church, the mingling of God with man, and the enlargement and expansion of God. The secret of all the experiences of God's organic salvation and the building of God is the Spirit with our spirit, that is, the consummated Spirit being and working together with the believers' created and regenerated spirit. Romans further reveals that the believers need to reign in life over all things for the Body life (cf. 8:17, 29; 12:5). By experiencing grace upon grace, the believers reign in life not only over sin, death, and Satan but even over all things. To reign in life is to conquer, subdue, and rule over Satan, the world, sin, the flesh, ourselves, and all the environmental circumstances and to subdue all kinds of insubordination. The issue of our reigning in life, living under the ruling of the divine life, is the real and practical Body life expressed in the church life (16:1, 4-5, 16). This message focuses on the testimony of God. According to the context of the entire Bible, the testimony of God is God Himself in Christ and the church. As the New Testament people of God, we must be the corporate witness, bearing this unique testimony. This requires that we know and practice the church life in its proper generality, which is the all-inclusive testimony of God and the full recovery of the Lord. For the church to take another way brings in confusion and division, and it causes us to lose God’s testimony. Therefore, the purpose of our migrations is to spread the church life as the completion of the Lord’s recovery, not the recovery only of certain items, but the recovery in totality. Following this are the messages from the Memorial Day Weekend Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The subject of this conference was “The Move of God in His Recovery as Portrayed in Ezekiel.” In these messages we see the high, awesome, and profoundly mysterious “visions of God” (Ezek. 1:1), showing us the intrinsic depths of God’s heart’s desire, His plan, His eternal economy, and His move to carry out His eternal economy. At the same time, we see many applications of the visions for the Lord’s current move in migration to raise up new churches. We also include a report on the open house and meeting of thanksgiving, praise, and consecration at the campus for the spread of the work of God’s New Testament ministry in the Lord’s recovery. This glorious and memorable inauguration of the new facility included an open house in three of the buildings on the campus, a love feast, a review of crucial points of the ministry of Brother Lee, and a solemn time of prayer. Following this is a report on the publication of the ministry in the Czech Republic with some encouraging responses from readers of The Stream magazine, a report on the radio broadcast of the ministry in the Spanish language, and a report on the ten-day training in Ardzini, Armenia.
