Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a frontal assault on all law based, obedience oriented religion. Most Christians carry a load of spiritual bondage, condemnation, guilt and shame. Some are deeply despondent and depressed because this load is too heavy for them to bear. Few Christians are truly confident in their personal relationship with God. This situation exists because: 1) Christians are generally unable to distinguish between actual sin versus mere human opinion about sin; 2) Christians do not understand that Jesus set them free from obedience based religion; 3) Christians do not know how to decide for themselves what is truly moral; 4) Christians have no real experience of "Christian Liberty." These issues are examined in sufficient detail to enable one to understand the radical nature of the "freedom for which Christ set us free," (Gal. 5:1). The author's goal is to destroy the roots of religious legalism so Christian believers can live the life of freedom which is their spiritual "blood-right." Beginning with a development of the "Master Key" to Biblical morality, the nature and implications of Christ's "Law of Love" are thoroughly explored. Next, the author discusses the true nature of morality, answering the question, "What exactly makes a thing sinful?" Careful attention is given to the concept of "defilement" or "uncleanness," with a bold look at Paul's revolutionary statement that "nothing is unclean of itself," (Rom. 14:14, 20). In Part Three, Legalism is exposed in all its ugliness. This section details the Biblical method for determining what is truly sin, and what is merely human opinion. Part Four destroys the bitter root of Legalism with persistent emphasis on the fact that Jesus Christ ended the rule of law by His life, death and resurrection. Part Five looks at the theology of Galatians, the Christian's "Emancipation Proclamation," closing with pointed illustration of how this all affects a Christian's liberty to exercise personal choice in what (s)he will or won't do. Five appendices explore several specific issues raised by the preceding study. These include: Conclusions About Christian Liberty "Contradictory" Scriptures? Christian Liberty and Sexual Issues The Necessity Of Experiencing Freedom The Non-Negotiables of Bible Study This is the only book on Christian Freedom written by an ex Fundamentalist. The author was raised in an atmosphere of extreme legalism. The first half of his Christian ministry was spent preaching, defending and even debating the concepts that he now seeks to destroy. The author lived in legalism forty years. He understands legalism. He therefore knows how to attack its vulnerable spots. His goal was not to write a book, but to give to anyone who is interested, information that will set them free from bondage to legalism and open the pathway to self-government under the rule of love. Book excerpt: What is the definition of the word royalty? The Merriam's Webster dictionary defines royalty as a right or perquisite of a sovereign (such as a percentage paid to the crown of gold or silver taken from mines). It also means regal character or bearing, a person o royal lineage or rank, an elite class. I believe for most of us when we think about royalty, we think about Kings and queens dressed in royal robes and attire and seated on a golden throne with thousands of subjects attending to them in service. For many years right before some of our governments adopted different system of government which included democracy, socialism and communism, we had Kingdoms ruling over many nations. For example we had the Kingdom of Babylon which ruled a bigger chunk of the world from the now Middle Eastern nations, Europe and some parts of North Africa. The Babylonian kingdom was originally a small Akkadian town dating from the period of the Akkadian Empire c. 2300 BC. The pattern of Kingdom ruler ship was first founded in heaven. God Almighty, the Creator of the heavens and earth, rules heaven as King and Lord. He also rules the earth as for His Word says, " The earth and its fullness belongs to the Lord".( Psalm 24:13; Psalm 115: 15-16). God Almighty established His Kingdom government in heaven. He is therefore King and not just another god like other small gods. God rules and directs the affairs of heaven as King. Jesus Christ, God's Son is seated on His right hand of Majesty as King of kings and Lord of lords. Jesus attained this level of ruler ship when He willingly accepted to come to earth, be born of a virgin woman called Mary, was filled with the Holy Spirit (heaven's Governor Representative on earth), went about doing good. He finally willingly gave His life, died a criminal's death first of all to redeem mankind from the power and yoke of sin which came as a result of the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The main purpose of Jesus' death was more than just saving us and taking to heaven. He came to take back the Keys of the Kingdom of God which Adam had willingly given to Satan, one of God's fallen cherub. Adam and Eve were created to rule the earth on behalf of the Kingdom of heaven. They were commanded by God Almighty to multiply, replenish and subdue the earth. They were commanded to have dominion over every living and creeping creatures on earth. ( See Gen 1, 2, 3). God Almighty was ruling heaven and He wanted His creation to share in the same rule reship status. Adam and Eve were created as King and Queen over the earth. After they fell in the temptation, they became subjects of Satan. He now became ruler of the earth in the place of Adam and Eve. If God is King of heaven and He created us in His image and likeness, then what is our identity? In the natural, the offspring of Kings and those who are born in the royal family become part of the royal family. They are born as prince and princes but they are trained to become kings and queens. Every single human being living on the face of the earth today has royal DNA in them. They just don't know. I call them ignorant kings who do not know who they are. Satan's became the god of this world. However, the earth was not given to him. God gave the earth to mankind to rule and have dominion. This purpose of this book is to explore and bring us back to our original status as royalty in God's Kingdom which is unshakable. We will study who kings are and what authority they have compared to other political leaders like Presidents, Prime ministers and governors. We will also compare the Kingdom system of government vs the other systems of government like democracy, socialism and communism.
