Book excerpt: A man drives alone along the vast, desolate roads of Patagonia, a mystical land. He comes across a starving and helpless teenager, who is now the prince grown older and returned to Earth. The two travellers, extremely different in both background and personality, begin a deep, simple and meaningful conversation that gets to the heart of life's most important questions. The trip becomes a truly spiritual journey, moving from innocence to maturity, from the everyday to the metaphysical, and from sadness and cynicism to happiness and enthusiasm for life.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: My book, The Return of The Little Prince, is a sequel to the marvelous and whimsical story of my uncle Antoine De Saint-Exupery, The Little Prince, where myth and poetry mix with reality and speak to us of the eternal in such an innocent manner. Both his story and mine are true. They are real stories of a quest to find that invisible spark of life which gives meaning to all there is. I learned the story from within, it was my aunt Consuelo De Saint-Exupery, an extraordinary person and the inspiration of Saint-Ex, the Rose of his story, who taught me to read, not only French in The Little Prince, but the essence of it as well. She talked to me about Saint-Ex, his dream world, of his airplane flights, of his moonstruck reveries, his airplane falls and the spirit that helped him survive them! Everything in that book was an integral part of what later happened to me and helped me to find that secret that now illumines my life. I remember. . . when I was a little girl, maybe six years old, I learned to read. . . know. . . and love the Little Prince. Later on, I learned that many others also did; it was, I believe, the bedside book of James Dean. I never knew him personally, but I read in an interview of a movie magazine that he said The Little Prince was his Bible. . . and I wondered if what drew him to it was the same thing that I loved about it? What I loved best was the invisible hidden in between such simple words and its childlike drawings, for concealed behind the fairytale there was a road map to a true spiritual experience. Whenever I read the last page of my uncle's book, I was moved by his sadness and felt a sense of urgency within me to find that lonely star landscape. So, I promised myself that one day I would find the Little Prince and let Saint-Ex know that he was back. Consequently, since early in life, I learned to close my eyes, open my heart and. . . began my quest. This tale is the fruit of my search. It has a happy ending as all good fairy tales have, for it happened that one day. . . when I least expected it. . . I found the Little Prince! Thus, I wrote this book, both as a direct answer to my uncle's plea, to share the good news with all those who love The Little Prince and as an invitation to quest to all those who long to find their reality. I have followed the same format of my uncle's book and also utilized the same style of drawings, wrapping my own story of how I searched and found the Little Prince with as much similarity as possible to that of his book, for a very good reason: I couldn't have done it in any other way, for I have loved The Little Prince since I was a child. My reason has been one of love, not arrogance, so please exempt me from the harshness of comparison if you are inclined to do so.

Book excerpt: The Young Prince and His Fate: Trapped in Time By: Jessica Wheeler This book continues the story of Ranvir, who is now married and with a child on the way. A tragic event makes him want to travel back in time. He ends up being trapped in time in a whole different world of what could’ve been. His journey is to get back to his own world before it’s too late. What makes the story interesting, is seeing Ranvir’s journey of trying to get back. He’s still learning that actions come with consequences. We finally see him start to realize that when he knows that he could possibly lose everything. What makes the message relevant is to not let fear get in the way of anything and everyone has it good until it’s gone. This is a lesson that Ranvir has to learn. What makes this book unique is that it’s inspired by the authors life in some ways. To say anymore would be a spoiler, all the authors ideas for the sequel were based off events that happened to her except the part of going back in time. One thing the author wants the readers to gain out of the story is to cherish every moment with your loved ones as tomorrow is never promised.

Book excerpt: Merlin was heartbroken after the death of King Arthur Pendragon. This is because he felt he had failed in his quest to protect the King. He stayed in the wooden cottage for months, away from everyone, as self-punishment until Kilgharrah (the old dragon) visited him. The dragon told him about new events at Camelot. According to legend, King Arthur's spirit could not enter the spirit world because Diamair had to pay a debt owed to King Arthur. Diamair uses magical power to return Arthur as a baby. Dochraid got angry as a result of Arthur's reborn. She brought Morgana Pendragon back to life in human form like she did to Sir Lancelot. Morgana Pendragon wages endless battles after discovering that King Arthur was reborn into the Pendragon family as the baby King. Could Merlin remain the undefeated force preventing Morgana Pendragon from achieving her desires this time? Even though Morgana Pendragon failed the last time, she cannot die again this time. This is because she remains the only sorceress that has resurrected from the dead in human form. Find out what happened in many series that eventually took place.

Book excerpt: How can it be that the same story is found in Scotland and also in Pre-Columbian America? What can account for the durability and persistence of tales? Was the tale of Aladdin and his wondrous lamp really taken from Wales (where it has been found) to the ancient East and, if so, when and by whom?These questions and more are answered in Idries Shah's remarkable volume World Tales, which is subtitled "e;The extraordinary coincidence of stories told in all times, in all places."e; In his introduction, Shah remarks, "e;Working for thirty-five years among the written and oral sources of our world heritage in tales, one feels a truly living element in them which is startlingly evident when one isolates the 'basic' stories; the ones which tend to have traveled farthest, to have featured in the largest number of classical collections, to have inspired great writers of the past and present."e;
