Download or read book The Real Man written by Kristen D. Hall and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2015-09-01 with total page 51 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book is about the triune being of God and how we as mankind are created in His image. First, God has spirit, soul, and body (the Lord Jesus Christ.) Man has a spirit, soul, and body. Through study, I have found that the soul is in the blood. The spirit is in the heart. The inward or inner man is the heart. The heart is the center of the soul. It is full of blood, which contains the soul; therefore, they are one and the same. It proves that the mind and will are seated in the heart. The brain is a processor that brings thoughts, imagination, etc. which come from the heart. In some mysterious fashion (that only God Almighty understands), those thoughts, reasoning, imaginations flow from the heart through the blood to the brain. This is where these things are manifested. It feels like the brain is the mind, because there is a process going on there. Thoughts are being brought into the physical realm. Finally, we all deal with what's called the flesh. They are inordinate affections for the ungodly. They are overcome by walking in charity.

Book Synopsis Behold the Real Jesus by : Dennis A. Beard
Download or read book Behold the Real Jesus written by Dennis A. Beard and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2007-06-04 with total page 132 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Was Jesus like us, or was he different in his humanity? The righteousness of God being revealed in relation to mankind’s dominion in the earthly realm is explained in pre- and post-glorification of Jesus’ Person and Work. This simple but profound revelation of Jesus reveals the love of God toward mankind as God revealed Himself in a body of flesh for our redemption, sanctification, and ultimately glorification. This is timely truth as Jesus is the light that shines more and more unto the perfect day, when we shall see Him as He is; all believers coming unto the knowledge of the Son of God unto a perfect man. Behold the Real Jesus proclaims truths as to the semantics of Jesus Christ before and after glorification. How the Word was made flesh as the Son of God is given in detail with scriptural foundation proving who Jesus is, was, and is to come. The novice as well as the mature believer will benefit from this book. If you are tired of reading ancient theologians’ manuscripts and reading commentaries pertaining to Jesus, and you’re ready for a fresh enlightening revelation of God, then Behold the Real Jesus is for you.

Book Synopsis The Spirit in the Epistles by : Witness Lee
Download or read book The Spirit in the Epistles written by Witness Lee and published by Living Stream Ministry. This book was released on 2017-03-01 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From Romans to the seven epistles in the book of Revelation, the life-giving Spirit, spoken of in 1 Corinthians 15:45, is the general subject of all the New Testament Epistles. In the Gospels the Lord Jesus is presented as the Word who became flesh, while in the Epistles He is presented as the One who became the life-giving Spirit in resurrection for us to receive, experience, and enjoy. In The Spirit in the Epistles Witness Lee speaks of the believers being one spirit with the Lord, that is, of the mingling of the divine Spirit with our regenerated human spirit. Since the Spirit is the essence of the revelation in the Epistles, Witness Lee also emphasizes our practical need to take Christ as life by turning to the indwelling Spirit, by setting our mind on the spirit, and by living and walking in the spirit that we may live in the Lord, who is the Spirit.

This book was released on 2019-06-14 with total page 410 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Since the 1970s I have pursued three separate but overlapping and sometimes simultaneous careers: (1) philosopher / writer / teacher / historian of the long nineteenth century, 1789-1914; (2) editor / translator / photographer / publisher / biographer / encyclopedist; (3) cataloging librarian / rare books and special collections librarian / historian of medicine. Somehow these three vocations have garnered me some acclaim, even an entry in Who's Who in America. Each of them has resulted in some published or presented works. Because these works have been scattered in a wide variety of venues, some of which have gone out of print or have otherwise become generally unavailable - and of course with the oral presentations being gone as soon as they are given - I have thought it wise to select, epitomize, and bring them together in one place - here. Thus, what follows in these volumes is what I consider to be the most important of my shorter works.
