This book was released on 2022-11-03 with total page 144 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This workbook is a combination of the wisdom I have gained through my twenty-five-plus years as a psychotherapist and my prayer life. It is eclectic in that it is a mix of several techniques and ways to improve your ability to journal for healing, Past trauma can be compared to having a sliver deeply embedded into your hand. The sliver is there, and it hurts when you touch it. If you ignore it long enough, it will become infected and inflamed. It interferes with your normal functioning. In order to heal, you need to remove the sliver. The same idea goes for a past trauma or injury. If you do not release the pain and poison of that past event, your whole well-being is affected. If you do not get it out, it will fester and affect everything and poison your relationships with others and God. If ignored, your spirit becomes tarnished and you cannot be filled with love. I was inspired to write this workbook while I was sitting with a client in crisis and praying for her. Most of my writing is spirit-driven. I do hope that you will use this workbook as a tool for healing and that you allow yourself as much time as you need. Write and rewrite as many times as you need in order to heal. In between your writing, play and pray. Find a balance. Allow yourself the needed time to process and identify your feelings. It is my prayer that through your hard work using this book, you will find inner peace and health. God bless you in your journey.

Book Synopsis How to Avoid a Climate Disaster by : Bill Gates

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: #1 NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLER • In this urgent, authoritative book, Bill Gates sets out a wide-ranging, practical—and accessible—plan for how the world can get to zero greenhouse gas emissions in time to avoid a climate catastrophe. Bill Gates has spent a decade investigating the causes and effects of climate change. With the help of experts in the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, political science, and finance, he has focused on what must be done in order to stop the planet's slide to certain environmental disaster. In this book, he not only explains why we need to work toward net-zero emissions of greenhouse gases, but also details what we need to do to achieve this profoundly important goal. He gives us a clear-eyed description of the challenges we face. Drawing on his understanding of innovation and what it takes to get new ideas into the market, he describes the areas in which technology is already helping to reduce emissions, where and how the current technology can be made to function more effectively, where breakthrough technologies are needed, and who is working on these essential innovations. Finally, he lays out a concrete, practical plan for achieving the goal of zero emissions—suggesting not only policies that governments should adopt, but what we as individuals can do to keep our government, our employers, and ourselves accountable in this crucial enterprise. As Bill Gates makes clear, achieving zero emissions will not be simple or easy to do, but if we follow the plan he sets out here, it is a goal firmly within our reach.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When you speak, do people hang on every word? In Luke 19:48 we read “…they hung on every word he said.” When Jesus spoke to a few or to many, people “hung on every word.”Does that happen to you? How does it make you feel when people don't.How do you think God feels? His creation, the world, and His word are open books for us to read, study, and ponder. And yet do we? This workbook will help you “hang on His words and have others hang on your words.”Looking at the Table of Contents for The Power of the Zip in a Heavenly Light, you may be overwhelmed at the size of the list. However, perhaps the most important zip to consider is The Zip of the Spirit.“Be silent, all mankind, before the Lord…” Zechariah 2:13 In silence there is an opportunity for the Lord to speak to us and change our thoughts, words, mental models, heart, hopes, dreams and our very souls.Learning to still the noises in our heads and our hearts will prepare us to hear the voice of the Lord. Many people think you need to be especially spiritual or religious or favored to hear God's voice. God's voice is for all people. “The heavens are telling the glory of God, the dome of the sky speaks the work of His hands. Every day it utters speech, every night it reveals knowledge. Without speech, without a word, without their voices being heard, their line goes out through all the earth, and their word to the end of the world.” Psalm 19:1-4Like a bestseller or You Tube video gone viral, the Bible is read all over the world in hundreds of languages and yet millions don't yet “get it.” The more we recognize God's voices around us every day, the more likely we will hear His voice as we read His word and listen for the particular words he has for us.Allow the insights and assessments prune you to strengthen you and the impact you can have with others. “He has already tended you by pruning you back for a greater strength and usefulness…” John 15:3God prunes us to make us stronger, not to weaken, hurt, or punish us. Many of us may feel like the psalmist who wrote, “They cut me down with sharpened tongues; they aim their bitter words like arrows straight at my heart.” Psalm 64:3 If that's true for you, help is at hand. The Power of the Zip in a Heavenly Light and this workbook can trigger significant revelations in your life. They can help inspire you:• To reflect on your habits of speaking and listening; ask others to assess you as well.• To return to God; include God in every thought, word and pause.• To reveal – ask God to reveal to you what He wants you to keep and what He wants you to discard.• To repent if you have hurt others with your words or silence.• To restore damaged relationships.• To renew your approach to speaking and listening, one conversation at a time.God invented the thirty-seven powers in the book. Each time we use one, we co-labor with God and harness His power for His purposes. What are His purposes? To have us be all that He designed us to be, not 2nd or 3rd class, but 1st class to the highest power. Then, as credible witnesses to His power, we can make Him famous. How would your job change if you saw your role differently? What would your work be like if your role were to coach your clients, boss, or family into your perspective? What would your work be like if you were to coach your clients, boss, or family to recognize why they needed your products or services? What would it be like if you helped your clients, boss, or family assess their needs? Then your job would be to help them get those needs met.
