Though Chinese history has that the legendary Gija () went to Joseon at the end of Shang dynasty(; c. 1046 BC) and came back to the west Zhou within few years, no one has yet confirmed the birth place of Joseon. Korean had used the standard method of studying history, but couldn’t find it. He convinced that Chinese concealed the facts and spread out false information. Korean used a wrong method to find facts concealed by the criminals. He applied a new methodology with a series of syllogism and found out the root. The founding father of the Ancient Korea conducted the epic flood. The mobster killed him and declared the Xia dynasty in the birth place of the Yellow River Civilization. They buried Old Korean History. He presents a new method to study history written under ideographs and defined that History as THE MOTHER OF ALL SCIENCES AND LIBERAL ARTS. He went one step further and emphasizes that not the written records alone, but the Reasoning is the essential element in the forensic science and to study the NEA history.

Book excerpt: This is a sister copy of the Ancient History of Manchuria under the same premises as the ancient scriptures of Korean history had been destroyed by the invaders. With this premise, Mosol starts to explore many issues after the Han invasion to Manchuria. He tackles lots of disputed issues that had been under the thick fog, analyzingthem in depth. Many issues relating with ancient Korean history are discussed. He proposes many new theories. The most striking new findings are that all of Three Kingdoms originated from Manchuria. Wei (??) is the descendant of the original Ye (?) people who settled around the Bohai Bay (???) under the leadership of Namryeo (??). They were close neighbors with Baekjae and were the dominant seafarers. The most disputed topic engraved in the Stele was in the Liaodong Peninsula. It is a fresh look in the academic sense for other scholars. Lee Mosol, MD, MPH
Book Synopsis Introduction to Korean History and Culture by : Andrew C. Nahm
Download or read book Introduction to Korean History and Culture written by Andrew C. Nahm and published by Weatherhill. This book was released on 1993 with total page 428 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The purpose of this book is to present the history and culture of Korea to meet the needs of the general reader. While providing essential historical and cultural background of the Korean people, emphasis is given to the process of transformation of the ancient Korean society into an aristocratic/feudalistic state first, and then into a modern nation. Unlike other Korean history books, this includes various aspects of radical changes that took place under the Communist rule after 1945 in the northern half of Korea. As for the southern half, the aspects of struggle for democracy, economic and cultural development, and social modernization have been given particular attention. --

Download or read book A Brief History of Korea written by 신형식 and published by Ewha Womans University Press. This book was released on 2005-01-01 with total page 152 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Korean Nation was formed over a long period as ethnic groups migrated and interacted with each other in and around Manchuria and the Korean Peninsula. This is why Koreans constitute one of the oldest people in Asia and pride themselves of a long tradition and rich cultural heritage. As a peninsular state, Korea has both continental and oceanic characteristics. Its culture is a unique amalgamation of foreign influences, as its geographical location constantly exposed it to contacts with not only China, but with countries to the north, south and west of China as well. In ancient times, Korea was a power in East Asia and once ruled much of Manchuria. The kingdom of Goguryeo was successful in repelling the aggression of China's Sui Dynasty and Tang Dynasty, while the kingdom of Balhae ruled over a vast territory extending to the north as far as Siberia (Russian Maritime Territory). Throughout history, Korea not only developed a culture that is unique and distinguished from that of China, but also transmitted many elements of its culture to Japan.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this comprehensive yet compact book, Michael J. Seth surveys Korean history from Neolithic times to the present. He explores the origins and development of Korean society, politics, and still little-known cultural heritage, showing how this ancient, culturally and ethnically homogeneous society was wrenched into the modern world, ultimately to be arbitrarily divided into two opposed halves after World War II. Tracing the six decades since, Seth explains how the two Koreas, with their deeply different political and social systems and geopolitical orientations, evolved into sharply contrasting societies. Throughout, he adds a rich dimension by placing Korean history into broader global perspective and by including primary readings from each era. All readers looking for a balanced, knowledgeable history will be richly rewarded with this clear and concise book.

Hulbert said that Korea and Japan have the same two racial types, but Japan is mostly Malay and Korea is mostly Manchu-Korean. He claimed that Korea is physically mostly of the northern type, but also said that the nation, being physically mostly of the northern type, did not disprove Hulbert's claim that the Malay element developed Korea's first civilization, although not necessarily originating Korea's first civilization, and the Malay element imposed its language in its main features in the entire peninsula.
