This book was released on 2015-01-12 with total page 108 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This study illustrates why the language of the Qur'an is miraculous, unique, and evidence of divine authority. The author compares the language of the Qur'an with the language of pre-Islamic poetry, the Prophet's words (hadith), and the language of the Arabs both past and present, to demonstrate that although the Qur'an was revealed in Arabic it was at the same time an Arabic which was entirely new. Original and early Muslim audiences viewed this as miraculous and responded to the Qur'an's words, sounds, rhythms, etc. in a manner consistent with a deeper appreciation of its beauty and majesty which modern ears, trained by familiarity, and despite being surrounded by all manner of dictionaries and studies, are at a loss to capture. The author attempts to remove this veil and present the Qur'an to readers as if hearing it for the first time, to bring to life some of this wonder. In doing so he guides readers to appreciate the beauty of the Qur'an, to become more immersed in it, and to have a clearer understanding of its structure and flow. Devoting special attention to Surah Al Muddaththir, to underpin his analysis, Saeh thus brings the Revelation to life, to demonstrate that each surah has distinct features and characteristics that make it stand out uniquely within the design and sweep of the whole.

Book excerpt: This book provides a unique visual history of the Qur'ān using fifty-five rare, beautiful and significant Qur'an manuscripts. A general introduction guides the reader through the Qur'ān's entry into the world of late near eastern antiquity, a world where books of scripture were inextricably bound to the political and religious identities of empires. Books of scripture, as well as being visible statements of divine majesty, personal piety and religious identity, were viewed as providing a point of contact with the divine. In this setting the Qur'ān came to be viewed by Muslims as the point of divine contact without peer, and the calligraphy of its text became the foundation of Islamic visual culture for centuries to come. From this beginning, the development of the Qur'ān in book form is followed chronologically and geographically, and the themes of textual development, art, identity and divine presence are highlighted in each chapter. This book draws mainly from the collection of Qur'āns in the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest collections in the English-speaking world and one of the finest collections internationally. Manuscripts are featured from every major chronological period of the Qur'ān's history, and most of the Qur'āns pictured have never appeared in print before.'Qur'āns: Books of Divine Encounter' brings together in one volume a magnificent range of Qur'ānic manuscripts, providing a lavishly illustrated historical overview of one of the most influential, most memorized and enduring sacred books in our world.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Qur'an is the greatest miracle of God (Allah) and the Qur'an is the proof of the truthfulness of Islam. It is the standing and everlasting miracle, but very rarely, have we heard how is it a miracle? The Qur'an is the ultimate miracle of our Prophet Muhammad (Sallahualaihi wassalam - S.A.W). It is such a miracle that all the other miracles are considered trivial and inconsequential compared to the Qur'an. This is because the Qur'an is so powerful, so bright and blinding that no matter how bright the other miracles are; when you have the sun, the stars become useless. In this book, Dr. Yasir Qadhi discussed on the miracles of the Qur'an that we either have never acknowledge or we often overlooked. The miracles of the Qur'an are endless and the points are abundance to be mentioned.

They travel at lightning speed and embark on an unimaginable journey that, as it unfolds, becomes ever more miraculous. The first destination is the sacred city of Jerusalem for an unimaginable meeting and prayer with angels and thousands of prophets. In a state of wonderment and anticipation, the Prophet (pbuh) discovers that his journey is just beginning, as he begins to ascend into the heavens. As he travels to each heavenly dimension he is personally greeted and welcomed by the former prophets. The Prophet (pbuh) is then shown the frequented house with its ceaseless angel pilgrims and the Lote Tree in all its glory. The journey culminates at the pinnacle, which the Prophet (pbuh) learns to be the ultimate reason for the journey; he is brought into Divine presence to be gifted a special command. When he is returned to Mecca where he recounts the miraculous happenings, he is met with ridicule by the disbelievers, and sincere belief by those who believe. This book describes the Prophet's experiences along the way, the miraculous nature of this journey, and emphasizes the lessons learnt from it.

It was written in 1902 when an opponent in Mudh, India alleged that all prophecies made by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) were false and that he did not possess the miraculous knowledge of the Arabic language he had claimed. In response, the Promised Messiah(as) wrote this book containing a lengthy Arabic Qasīdah [ode] in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in a mere five days. He challenged his opponents to produce the like of it and announced a prize money of Rs. 10,000 which was his total worth at the time. No one arose to the challenge. Instead, a large number of residents of town of Mudh were decimated by the plague as prophesied in this book.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is unique in its approach to the Qur'an. It argues the point that only God could author such a book, and that Muhammad could have never produced anything like it. While this objective has been attempted by several Muslim scholars who highlighted one aspect or another of the topics highlighted in the Qur'an, Dr. Draz's works is perhaps the first that relies totally on the merits of the Qur'anic text for an irrefutable proof. Dr. Draz discusses the arguments made at the time of the Prophet and later on which suggested that the Qur'an was taught to Muhammad by various teachers, and shows how they all collapse at the first test. When he has irrefutably established the fact that the Qur'an could only be a divine revelation, Dr. Draz goes on to analyze the Qur'anic style, showing how it combines merits that could never be found together in any human writing. Equipped with a profound literary sense and a powerful Arabic style, Dr. Draz discusses the main characteristics of the Qur'anic style, as well as the unity of theme that runs through each chapter , or surah. The work is now presented to English readers as it gives students of the Qur'an valuable insight, enabling them to understand the Qur'an better.
